We’re missing a couple of starters, maybe a little less confident in mid-field, but it reflects well on your chances this year. We won't face teams like Rovers every week, you were stronger and faster with more quality, fair dues, while our organisation was good. Jack can be a bit hot-headed at times and he needs to work on that.
Life on Marrs?
Reasonable enough game to watch. Quite pleased with that performance. Could've done with a bit more in the final third, but less worried than I was this time last year.
Hank Scorpio
Thought East Fife were pretty well organised. Can see the boy at 2 getting targeted a bit due to his hot headedness, a walking yellow card. Thought the boy at left wing with the pink boots was a handful.

No 2 was murdoch, good luck to anyone targeting him! Jack healy was the other one you mentioned. He certainly stands out in league 2, and not just for his colour of footwear!

A softish handball and a goalie straying from his line was the difference between the teams. We could well be facing each other in the league in 2014-15. -
Cosmic Joe
Over 500 in both the home and away sections. Decent turnout. -
sammytroot
That was 9 years ago. Certainly the EF performance was much better than Tuesday night.Defensively much stronger and there was a structure in place. Not too sure about 2 left sided central defenders.Would also like to see Docherty start .

There was probably 4 or so starters not even in our squad today. East Fife were treating the game like a competitive tie with some of the tackles flying in tbh. Rovers eased off in terms of pressing and intensity vs the game against Kelty last week, but even then could tell there was a gap in quality between the sides today.

Your guy Watson was flying in also to be fair.

Aye, Raith weren't being competitive. Watson went right through the back of Schiavone's heid. Outcome : a stot up. -

We were missing both starting DM’s while starting our 4th choice CB, a midfielder at RB and a striker who hasn’t played a minute this preseason. Take of it what you will, but that was certainly a weaker team for us than played any of the previous three matches. That being said, as you noted, you generally coped reasonably well with the probing and pressure, but you could see several of your players got quite rushed on occasion. With a little time to settle in and get comfortable with each other, you probably have the makings of at least a playoff contender for League Two. The keeper looked reasonably decent, and you certainly have a couple of threats. The recent stiffening of your defence should pay dividends that weren’t obvious today, but even so it wasn’t one sided by any means.

Well, if that's the best you can come up with? not sure the aim of promotion to the SPFL is going to happen?
