Orange Walk / Scottish Cricket thread

~~~
Recommended Posts
If the orange walks were just the members of the order with their bands then it could be sent as a celebration of their cultural rights. Unfortunately though its the Neanderthals who follow the bands and walkers that are the problem. There will be the usual rangers tops coupled with shell suit bottoms and a baseball cap. They will be either very skinny or very fat and will have either a can of Tennant's lager or bottle of buckie.
All of the songs currently banned at football matches will be sung at full volume and any one who has the misfortune to be going in the opposite direction will of course be loudly abused. Gardens on the route of the walk will be littered with cans and bottles if they are lucky, with urine and feaces if they are unlucky.
I am sure that in our multi cultural british society there is room for everyone to express their views. It should be somewhere seperate from decent human beings though.
Well, he is/was a member of the Royal Black Institution.
That would automatically mean he is/was also an Orangeman
Anyhoo - back to Mike Mccurry ...
Surely even an ex-referee should be distancing himself from these mutants !?
Seem to remember that Celtic supporters' collective paranoia went into overdrive when he got lifted for drunk and disorderly at a walk in Ayrshire or am I thinking of somebody else?
The OO have bottled out of appearing on Scotland2015 tonight
Given that this event is apparently about defeating misconceptions and opening themselves up, would it not have been a good chance to do that on a public forum such as Scotland Tonight, no?
Somebody should turn up like this, with YES and LGBT badges on and film their experience with a go pro for the banter
Doubt it..THE Grand Orange Lodge of Ireland has spoken out against the Westminster vote on gay marriage.
The Deputy Grand Master, Rev Alistair Smyth described it as a further sign of ‘moral decline’.
Think you also need to be purple before you get to be black just to confuse matters further.
Aye, but for the purposes of this particular discussion, it has been assumed that "Orangeman = able to join Royal Black Institution" and not "Orangeman having taken only the first degree or having taken only the first and second degrees is not eligible to join the Royal Black Institution" but "Orangeman having taken the first and second degrees and the purple degree is able to join the Royal Black Institution".
Cuts down on the typing somewhat
