Know the dog + chocolate mix is bad news but so far I've had no bad luck with it. My grans dog, which was ancient, ploughed into a gift sized Cadburys bar and didn't even seem fussed, while my wee rat ate a chocolate muffin I'd bought for my wifes birthday and had no issues. Mines is a proper mongrel though so seemingly they have really strong stomachs. Our two would probably have been OK, but we didn't want to take any chances. Just by chance, when we phoned the emergency number, the vet was in the surgery preparing to go out to a horse. Given the weight of our two (33 & 34 kg), she calculated that anything over 130 g might be problematic. In addition, dark chocolate is worse for them than milk chocolate, so it made the decision easy. We were down at the surgery 2 minutes later. They were none the worse for the experience, but it must have been no more than 20 miutes between eating the stuff and getting the jags.

Rizzo
Big numpty mutt had a considerably better Sunday this week after completing his intro to mantrailing. You could see he didn't really understand what he was supposed to do at first but seemed to have it sussed by the end.

Lofarl
Fergie hasn’t been out for a walk since 2pm. It’s nearly 6pm. Sometimes he has to wait until just after 6. Please can you give just two pounds a month? Just two pounds a month will enable Fergies owner to buy some earplugs. Please just two pounds a month or whatever you can spare.

Left Back
Totally burst after half an hour of agility. Takes more out of her than an hour full pelt frisbee chasing.

Aye, I’ve been told that. Exercising while having to use their brain tires them out far faster that just running about with it in permanent neutral. Please also bear in mind that I have a Labrador whose brain is permanently stuck in neutral..

stevieKTID
I was walking this guy yesterday, it was very windy, he stopped to do a sh*t and just as I bent over to pick it up a huge gust of wind started blowing it along the pavement, it broke into 3 pieces and they all went in different directions, I really hope someone was looking out their window watching me chase three pieces of dogsh*t up the road, it certainly made me laugh.
