The All New Occasionally Aussie P+B Quiz League and ☕ Occasional Cup ☕

Recommended Posts

Last quiz of the week and to finish off we have 2 Aussie (got both wrong) and a Kwiw (guessed it) plus 1 involving an Aussie actress. Another 5/10 making it a consistently meh week as that's the 4th 5 this week plus a 4. Knew where Nice is, the movie and there really was only 1 answer it could be for the element. Guessing hat worked for Shakespeare and NZ PM. http://www.theaustralian.com.au/news/mind-games/quiz?quizId=3773&sectionId=1

A subtle attempt by yours truly to take the piss out of Edmund has fallen flat on its arse :)

For what it's worth (fiwi).  I got it but was too late to point it out to Jacksgranda!

Got it now!

Congratulations to Ross County and greetings from Down Under where it's a holiday today, but only in SA, VIC, ACT & TAS. Today we have 2 Aussie questions (1 correct) and no Kwiw, Kiwi, Kwwi, Kiiw or Kwii or even Tiwi island questions. Should have been 6/10 but on the book and Kentucky questions so it's a poor 4/10. Knew them all though, pettifoger, racecourse, sub and sea.  http://www.theaustralian.com.au/news/mind-games/quiz?quizId=3783&sectionId=1

I knew the Dubrovnik answer and fluked a 6/10.

Well done Ross County for upsetting the bookies odds and paying for the copious amount of alcohol that fueled my hangover.

Congratulations to Ross County too, and greetings from My Bed, where it is also a holiday.

A so-so 5. And really it should be a 4 since I guessed the Aussie Rugby one.

You've ideas above your station, young man, I'm quite happy with 5/10. Knew US state, submarine and sea.

Pretty sure of pettifogger, guessed racecourse.

Beware the Ides of March edition and it almost was for me until a re-read of the Chile question an last minute change of mind on the Surabaya one gave me a meh 5.10. Knew keith Moon & Chile (eventually) and guessed Surabaya, O and the TV character.  http://www.theaustralian.com.au/news/mind-games/quiz?quizId=3793&sectionId=1
