Hope they’ve got more of these planned. Giving this a go. It’s a bit idiot abroad and somewhat patronising to Rylan. But it’s a bit more educational than Travel Man so we’re sticking with it.

scottsdad
Going through original Star Trek and not skipping the really pish episodes. On the one where the US constitution somehow are holy words on another planet. Pure coincidence. Still, at least in the last episode Kirk saved the ship by snogging a lassie.

The Naitch
Brilliant episode of Race Across The World tonight. Welled up after the chat Betty and James had, that was powerful stuff. I thought this was very good, the images on the evening news every night became a bit of a parody/joke, weird guy on oxygen being wheeled into Court etc, but this documentary gave us the whole picture of Arthur Knight, an absolute psychopath.

Florentine_Pogen
Just discovered that the BBC have put their 1987 dramatisation of John Le Carre's 'A Perfect Spy' on iPlayer. This is a 'must watch' for any Le Carre fan. I believe it is his best book by far. Peter Egan, Ray McInally, Alan Howard & Jane Booker are all excellent. ETA - And Rudiger Weigang as Axel.
