Stevie Aitken's Love Child
Loving the new stadium of German third tier side SSV Jahn Regensburg. Something like this, maybe a little bigger in capacity, would be ideal for a cub like Aberdeen.
7-2
Looks like those pics would be taken from where the homes of the locals who were forced out or had their properties devalued by Liverpool Football Club running down the area so that they could build the stand once stood. Audaces Fortuna Juvat
Club of the people my arse. Was at Anfield for the first time last season and the surrounding area was a sh1thole that reminded me of Belfast at the height of the Troubles in the Seventies.

That with what 7-2 mentioned and the usual high BPL ticket prices they can't claim to be that at all. However they can still sell to the morons with that whole theory who will buy into it every day.

Aye but they're mostly (if not all???) vacants are they not? Ready to be knocked down.

Toby
Aye but they're mostly (if not all???) vacants are they not? Ready to be knocked down. Did Liverpool not buy up a lot of the properties and leave them to rot though, as a result dragging the value of those inhabited properties down with them as the area degenerated?
Sergeant Wilson
Did Liverpool not buy up a lot of the properties and leave them to rot though, as a result dragging the value of those inhabited properties down with them as the area degenerated?Aye, they completely ruined the area with a view to forcing out the people who wouldn't sell up.
Latino Lover
I like how there was always life around anfield, better than old Trafford or Celtic park being surrounded by f**k all. Bias aside sjp is the best located stadium out of England bigger ones.
mrcat1990
I'm not sure people support Liverpool because they claim to be a 'club of the people' tbh Nope but they'll be plenty of thick fans who will trot out this line much like Celtic and TGFITW chat. Play to the thick ideologies and keep the idiots clapping along.
RandomGuy.
Was it Liverpool or Tottenham that set fire to a business to force them out the way?

ShawfieldAggro
They trot it out constantly!! Brenton is particularly fond of selling the club line to the usual third-rate statobots his computer tells him to sign every window. In any case, didn't Celtic do the same with the old flats behind the Parkhead Cross end when building Phase Two of The Bunnet's New Paradise??

Enigma
What's the capacity on that German stadium. They seem to do enclosed 10,000 seater stadiums so much better than us. Looks close to the pitch and would be cracking full. Compare that to new St. Mirren stadium, Falkirk or Hamilton.
