Think they've only started work on one so far, at Al Wakra in February. Injuries and deaths will continue to happen on the many construction sites, metro and road projects that will be be used during the World Cup but no doubt these will be ignored by the delivery committee. An investigation were also told any deaths were from "natural causes" so didn't count, ,,,,natural deaths as in, young men dying from heat exhaustion, heart attacks ,,,you know, ,,,"natural causes"
Burnie_man
Blatter wanted USA for 2022, Blatter wants re-election, Blatter said Qatar was a mistake. Make up your own mind where this is going.

banana
How easy is it to return bribes? How easy is it to cover up deaths and mistreatment of infrastructure workers? How hard is it to relocate away from Qatar when they can expose the massive corruption they engaged FIFA in to win the vote? 'World Cup Qatar', Jesus fcuk.... The_Kincardine
I don't think every world cup was bought with a bribe I don't think so either. I do think, though, that hosting the WC in Qatar in 2022 is absurd and hasn't been arrived at rationally.
HibeeJibee
Jim Boyce, the Northern Irishman who currently holds the Home Nation FIFA Vice Presidency and has previously been (surprisingly) forward in his support of moving WC2022 to winter, says he'd re-run the process if bribery is proven and linked with the official Qatar 2022 bid. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/27654587 EDIT: I suspect the sticking-point will be finding the smoking-gun link with Qatar's bid-team. Jamaldo
Maybe I'm being cynical but I fully expect the World Cup to still be held in Qatar in 2022, because it doesn't matter if the modern-day equivalent of slavery is in force with regards to the construction of the stadiums in cities that don't exist, or that the country got it purely on bribes. No what's far more important is that FIFA can't be seen to hold their hands up and admit they fucked up and are instead giving it to a country which isn't a fucked up homophobic toilet. nsr
Where exactly did this information come from? Could this be FIFA finally realising how stupid they were at giving the World Cup to Qatar and trying to manufacture some excuse to take it off them without losing face?
