grumswall
He's probably been a house cat too long to let him out. Ours is a house cat who occasionally will come out to the back garden with me but it's a different world to what he's used to so doesn't seem to like it much.
jamamafegan
Fat Jerry might just be my favourite cat on this thread now.
NorthernJambo
I'd keep him indoors mate. He's not going to know how to go about stuff outside. If he wants back out he'll let make it obvious.

BigMartyn86
Think I'll keep him indoors as it'll probably be safer for him. At least he has a rather dashing brown collar now.
Shandon Par
Muffy was having a good argument with a large crow yesterday evening. Went out to investigate the racket and crow was standing on the gutters at back of house, angrily squawking at cat. Cat was on top of fence, meowing and gesticulating at crow, beckoning him to "come down here and say that". Like a pair of angry drunks at kicking out time.
Ludo*1
Let the old boy out the house for half a hour and all he wanted to do was lie under a bush then run into the house. You've just Truman Show'd him.
Bigmouth Strikes Again
Brave from the Muffster, a big crow could do a lot of damage to a cat. IMO.

Dindeleux
Made the mistake about 3 weeks ago of letting my cat in the upstairs bedroom window, my bedroom, because I thought it was funny that her face appeared there. Now she thinks it's a door and will cry to get in that way at all hours of the day. Major blunder. -
Dindeleux
Also, she is eyeing up a lunge onto the roof which I think she hasn't thought through from a "coming back down" perspective. I'm absolutely terrified of heights so there is no chance of me getting a ladder out if she gets stuck. What would you do in this situation? Are you allowed to phone the fire brigade out or is that limited to TV shows like Fireman Sam. -

First cat I had, he was stuck up a tree for about three days*, so good luck with that one. *RIP Morrissey.

His tail always seemed way out of proportion.
