KierenAAFC
Trialist Jakob Smutek from tonight's game I believe.
Father Barrys Sign (Top Half)
Hes played a few friendlies for the reserves as well. Big presence, quiet last night, didn't really get into the game. Alloa played really well, deserved 1 0 winners. Nothing of too much note- Robertson looked really accomplished at right back. Cawley and Holmes both excellent as always. Good energy about the team.
BFTD
Whereabouts does Smutek play? One hell of a neat haircut BTW. How did Scotty Hynd cope with his 45 mins against QoS? Still hoping he'll get a run in the first team, probably naively.
falkirkwasp
The last development game i watched hynd was in a much deeper role i thought he was an out and out striker, the boy john cunningham looks a bit of a player.
Father Barrys Sign (Top Half)
The trialist is a centre forward. Seen Hynd play in majority of forward positions in Dev League including out wide fairly frequently. He was pretty decent against Queens, the usual effort from him. Pressed well, got into good areas and caused problems overall.
KierenAAFC
And what about the trialist? He looking like someone for the first team this season, or a development player. Or not even successful is a possibility too.
Father Barrys Sign (Top Half)
The managers had a good look at him I think. But personally would be surprised to see him anywhere near first team.

Father Barrys Sign (Top Half)
I write for the match programme, help with general maintenance in the stadium on occasion etc, so never had a problem. In this instance though, anyone could have got in. The only reason it wasn't advertised was so that the club didn't need to fork out on stewards etc.
falkirkwasp
I would have attended, although i thought it would be saturday, whats the difference between that and say a development game surely it would be roughly around the same crowd.
LeodhasXD
I thought the second half was funny. We were set up in a 4-1-5 formation.

There's far greater interest in the first team for a start. A decent opposition plus you may have had central belt based Queens fans and neutrals at a loose end. The potential would have been greater, would have been difficult for the club to gauge.

KierenAAFC
Take it this guy (K. McDonald) is another trialist who played for the reserves this week? Looks older & cant find his profile on Alloa. Any ideas?
