We make a lot more money from corporate than both of them though.

I wonder how much we can rely on that going forward.  A lot of it must be oil sector.  The industry is not a great shape.  You used to look for the oil price bouncing back but with the sentiment against new development and a government in bed with the Greens it's not so simple any more.

David Brent on Twitter: "Hardly sold any. "Good! Didn't want it to, next!" http://t.co/97Er2YWaOR"

Good! Didn't want Martin Boyle to sign. Next!

'Aberdeen said the offer was £500,000 but what was it really?'

'Roughly?  £42,000.'

Well he’s signed a new deal and he’s definitely not our best paid player in the last 20 years. Better luck next time.

He'll be on a fair whack now so fair play to him.

It's an easy way for companies to write off some tax.

Decent player Boyle but quite often seems to go missing in matches against the bigger teams, don't think I've seen him excel at Pittodrie before, not sure how well he has done at Parkhead/Ibrox/Tynecastle.

Is that semi finals you're talking about?

Business entertaining expenditure isn't tax deductible.

Sponsorship is.

But it only reduces your tax by 19% of the amount it reduces your profits by.

As tax dodges go, it's pretty shit but better than  a baxendale-walker EBT.

Strange comment.

It's football, clubs make offers for other players all the time. Aberdeen were entitled to bid for Boyle, Hibs were entitled to say no. Same as Hibs were entitled to ask about Kerr of St Johnsone and the fermers were entitled to knock them back.

We all move on .

Maybe for you. I intend to booo him very loudly when I next see him from afar and maybe throw some crisps.
