SweeperDee
That's a fucking ridiculous signing. Very jealous.
williemillersmoustache
This could very well mean we are expecting Jack to go, hope not. But even if he does I can console myself with the now inevitable relegation of the smurn. Good to see money changes hands between scottish clubs too.

SS RED
Amazed if this is true, didn't see this coming at all.
AberdeenBud
Wouldn't be surprised to see him in a Scotland jersey at some point in the future.
Coventry Saint
Wouldn't be surprised to see him in a Scotland jersey at some point in the future. Now he's eligible for selection, you mean?

He is at the wrong club for that I am afraid, but I agree with you, great talent.

Haha, are you guys familiar with Aberdeen? No way that this makes hm more likely to get a call-up, not while McGhee is involved.
RussellAnderson
This is gonna be weird having more than one player for each position..

Is it just the three Aberdeen players who have been called up to a Scotland squad in the last 18 months or so?

Coventry Saint
At least he's not signed for either half of the New Old Firm. This is hard enough to take as it is without him pitching up at Sevco.
George Parr
Another CH and a top quality goalkeeper and I reckon that's a side that's on par with Celtic and a much more exciting line-up at that! I expect Danny Rodgers could comfortably manage between the sticks for the Dons next season. Arguably our player of the year.

Good to hear, especially after Brown's f**k-ups on Saturday.
Nsa123
If we do infact sign McLean, I think we are looking very good for next season, a pacey striker wouldn't go a miss tho as I don't think goodwillie is up to it..... Or just play mcginn up top
7-2
The first decent transfer fee between two non-OF for quite a while. The Armageddon years really have been great for the Scottish game.
flyingscot
Aberdeen first XI for next season looks very strong. I would guess at something like: Brown Logan Reynolds Taylor Shinnie ( ) Jack McLean McGinn Pawlett Hayes Rooney Not bad! You can't play McLean deep. That is why he's looked so good since Teale came in as he plays behind a striker. He's not as good in the holding role and a bit of a waste in that position.

Anyone know when the last one was? Griffiths from Livi to Dundee was around £150k was it not? Has there been another since?

I'd imagine that McLean would play the role that Hayes has been playing recently.

Your lot also said Harkins and McGowan can't play in the same team, I think St Mirren fans should refrain from telling other teams where they can play their own players. -
