No harshness intended min I believe we’re in for the following: Liam Lindsay Stephen O’Donnoll Matt Kennedy Likely to get our semi annual knockback from McGeough as well
Dons_1988
SOD would be great, shay is ready to be a squad player. Still not convinced we can’t do better than Kennedy but admittedly haven’t seen a huge amount of him.

RussellAnderson
Theres a Dundee supporter on Twitter saying you're in for Dorrans, too. From what I’ve seen of Dundee he’s not been particularly impressive, although the rest of the team are maybe not on his page. Took his goal well in the Derby.

anotherchance
Probably the most baffling signing of the McInnes reign and there been a few corkers Plenty would’ve taken him after he ripped us a new one in the semi final, in fairness.
Illgresi
I'd be happy enough with O'Donnell and Kennedy but what we desperately need is a replacement for Christie. We have absolutely no ball retention ability in the opposition half. I'm pretty sure Kennedy is exclusively a winger, so would seem a bit of a redundant signing even though he may well be an improvement in the squad. Wingers are no use if you can't get the ball to them. I can't think of any realistic signings in the no. 10 role in Scotland who would be good enough though. Edit: Possibly Kyle Magennis? Not sure I understand the Lindsay rumour. He'd be an improvement alongside McKenna, but there's no way we could afford him unless he comes as a makeweight in a deal for McKenna. In that case he'd likely be a loan, which is pointless. We'd be better off waiting until the summer if we're going to sell McKenna and make a play for Findlay as a replacement. Unless of course Cormack wants to show real ambition and go and get Lindsay to play alongside McKenna! Last season we had a spell of him playing centrally just off Watt and he caused chaos there. Hes also played as a lone striker for us, against Rangers, and got a goal and was MOM.

On that basis, if we are interested in him, McInnes will probably play him at left back.

Guest Bob Mahelp
We already have 3 out and out wingers in McGinn, Hedges and McLennan who spend most of their Aberdeen careers as perma-substitutes. All we need is another one squeezing in on the bench.

Hes our best winger and the difference in position is worth £100k+, while relegation could cost over a million, we wont harm our own chances for a nominal fee. FWIW you've not actually approached him, simply told his agent to keep you in the loop about what's happening. I didn't literally mean £20k RG. It was more a case of agreeing a pre contract and then offering a fee to get him in now. Doubt £20k would swing it tbh.
