Deefiant
Scepticism coming from a supporter of a team that brought Scotland such exciting exports nobody had ever heard of such as Juan Sara (Jesus loves you) Fabián Caballero and Paco Luna? I'm disappointed in you. Look how well that worked out for us.... Fucking brilliant at the time tbf Im not sceptical, was just wondering if people knew anything about him - Hearts fans keep mentioning 4 or 5 quality additions and so far it seems to be gambles you are bringing in as opposed to proven quality.
SweeperDee
*shudder* I actually thought he was alright in the few games he played for us.

Erm, Levein's track record in Scotland speaks for itself. It doesn't take much for utter diddies from the third or fourth tier of English football to establish themselves in the Scottish Premiership ffs.

Augustin was tracked by a number of clubs, including Legia Warsaw, so I can't imagine he'll do too badly. Reilly is young, but talented and could work out pretty similarly to yourselves with Stewart last season, although it could take him a season or two to find his feet. Juanma, unknown quantity, could be hit or a miss, but with the players brought in so far in the last season I'd guess it's more likely to be the former. No idea about anymore signings, but I'm extremely optimistic about them, and the season ahead.
RandomGuy.
Not sure what Leveins track record is tbh. Two 5th placed finishes with signings like Danny Cadamareti (sp), Casinulovo, Jordan Robertson, Mark Fotheringham, Warren Feeney, Roy O Donovan and Jim O Brien hardly speaks volumes

Kyle
Robbie Neilson describes your new boy as being '6'2, strong and a real aerial threat'. So, he's a foreign, more expensive, less prolific and less handsome version of John Sutton? Ooft.

He did play in Serie A though.
Deefiant
Reilly is pretty poor tbh. Yup - either he has really come on leaps and bounds over the past season (not entirely impossible tbf - think Greg Stewart) or.... whisper it..... the standard of last seasons Championship was lower than the season before consequently making him appear a better player.

Unless he has severe arthritis then he should be more mobile than Sutton at the very least.
DC92
Anyway, here's Juanma scoring a delightful chip: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ubDC3rg0bQc&feature=youtu.be I expect he'll be doing this every other week.

That's pretty much unheard of for a young player.

A lower standard than the year a team with Christian Nade won promotion? I'd say that's unlikely tbf.

JamboMikey
Craig Levein got Hearts to the second round of the UEFA Cup with players like Robbie Neilson, Neil MacFarlane and Steven Boyack. A minor miracle looking back on it.
DC92
^^^ idiot found. 2001 - Hibernian 2002 - Livingston 2003 - Hearts 2004 - Hearts 2005 - Hibernian Hard lines, champ. So we finished 5th, 3rd and 3rd in Levein's three full seasons at Hearts, which is exactly what he said.
