FTH
You're in for a bit of a shock if you think Brad's going to be good for you RandomGuy. He's extremely average. Great guy though.
RandomGuy.
Average at this level is still better than Balatoni
the jambo-rocker
Just basing it on the fact McKays younger, and looks capable of playing regularly at this level. While Balatoni had a good couple of months and for the rest of the few years hes played at this level he's looked miles out his depth So looking like you could be capable of playing at this level, is better than actually proving that you are?

Looking like you could cope at this level regularly is preferable to proving you're not good enough to start every game, yes
Bob Belcher
Balatoni is more than capable of playing at this level
Aylo vanal
McKay has plenty potential, he was a little too eager to win every ball at Hearts and needs some experience next to him. I've no doubt he'll go on to do well at St Johnstone, probably not good enough to be pushing for a start at Hearts. Balatoni would only ever be a back up so would actually be a reasonably good signing. Edited July 21, 2015 by Aylo vanal
P45
Balatoni will do fine for Hearts.
the jambo-rocker
Looking like you could cope at this level regularly is preferable to proving you're not good enough to start every game, yes That wasn't what you said. And Brad McKay hasn't done anything towards proving himself at Premiership level yet. Does he have potential, yes, but potentially good cover is not enough. Balatoni should at least allow us cover to get McGhee out on loan and give him a run of games at CB.
TheScarf
Hearts always bring good #numbers up here, I don't think this weird KO time will change that.
Elixir
Who else was it that punters from another club were linking us to on here a few weeks back? I can't remember. That was quite funny as well, though.

While Balatoni had a good couple of months and for the rest of the few years hes played at this level he's looked miles out his depth Niether player is good enough for hearts, hence why they were both released. If you honestly think McKay is going to go on and be a quality centre half then your in for a shock. I know several guys that have been in the same teams as him over the last few years and they ALL say the same thing. He's torture. Harsh but true
Mr Romanov
McKay is a very limited player. He has an amazing attitude though and that will see him well throughout his career. Balatoni - meh. Handy back up.

Mr. X
The best thing about Brad Mackay was the chant 'Brad - Brad - Brad - Brad Mckay - Brad Mckay' to the tune of Star Wars Imperial March.

drumie jambo
El Hass out for 4 months knee injury. Sore one for the guy just beginning to play like the player that RN/CL said he was. Edited July 21, 2015 by drumie jambo
DC92
Yeah, I'm not sure when McKay's supposed to have shown he can be a consistent performer at this level because it definitely wasn't when he did play consistently at this level for us. His popularity among Hearts fans seems to largely stem from the fact he hates Hibs n that. That said he did play well enough when I saw him last season and he still has youth on his side.
Tony Wonder
Real sore one for El Hassnaoui. was looking forward to seeing if he could step up to the plate at full fitness. Hopefully he gets back quicker than 4 months, but even if he does it's going to take time to work back to match sharpness.
