Heart of Northern
Brutal news. Such a decent person by all accounts and so young.
Ranaldo Bairn
What happened to him? I think I stayed at a guesthouse he owned once.

Egg Shen
Gutted to hear about Salvo, loved him. Cheers for the great memories - halfing Peter Grant and the 98 cup. A few words from the big man at 3.03
NJ2
Anyone know how he died? Didn’t hear he was ill or anything. One of my early heroes [emoji17]
LincolnHearts
Awful news. He played no small part in that team in 98. Gutted. -

Elixir
Also hits home that we'll probably never see players of his calibre playing again in Scotland for anyone other than Celtic, and maybe Rangers one day. Depressing.

NJ2
I think it's quite the opposite. A rushed job, cold and detached. Fair enough. I’m not going to argue over a tribute to someone, and I don’t think you’d want to either. As someone who only has vague memories of the man playing it gave me a good idea of his career, why we know and loved him, and ties in with what I can remember.
Falcor Roar
I was just talking today about that cup winning team and him in particular then I find out the bad news when I get home. Rest in peace Stefano - Hearts legend.

Agreed . Should be a minutes silence on Sunday and a minutes applause or something whenever we're back at Tynie .
paranoid android
Apparently, they're having the minute's applause in the fifth minute as there's a silence planned for Rememberance before kick-off. Me showing my ignorance again,
