Faissal El Bak at 11/1 to score 2 or more tonight. He has done so six times already this season (including against Dundee). Joe Cardle at 11/1 first scorer also looks decent. He has scored first in two of the last three games (scoring four in total). Also scored in last round against Dundee.

Quite a few that interest me tonight/tomorrow, all outside of the cup games going on in the UK.

Napoli (away to Carpi). This is the bet of the night for me. Napoli are fresh off the back of dicking Brugge & Lazio 5-0 in the last week and are now coming in to the easiest of the three games against Carpi. Carpi actually haven't done too badly so far, picking up a point away to Palermo - although they were second best throughout, it was an impressive result. That was either side of narrow defeats at home to Inter & Fiorentina. They were, however, absolutely molested away to Sampdoria on the opening day and were 5-1 down at HT. Regardless of recent performances, it still shows that the better sides facing Carpi at their place, will come and take the 3 points. Odds: 1.55 (Above evens for -1!).

Norrkoping (home to Djurgarden). Title challengers Norrkoping won 5-1 last time out at home to Sundsvall, whilst Djurgarden meekly surrendered to Malmo in a 2-0 defeat. It was only 4/5 weeks ago that Djurgarden were sitting top 4, 2 points off the top of the league looking at a title push themselves. Their season has completely bottomed out since and they've dropped 3 places and are now 13 points adrift of 1st place, with 1 win in 6 in the league. Norrkoping are flying right now and are scoring plenty - 11 in their last 4 league games, 16 in 5 if you count their cup tie. It looked like their season might well have been heading the same way as Djurgardens after losing at home to AIK and needing a last minute goal to get a point at Atvidaberg who were bottom, having at the time only won one game all season, but they've now won 4 on the bounce. An impressive home record of 8 wins, 2 draws and 2 defeats just adds to the argument that the home side are going to breeze this. Odds: 1.90

AIK (away to GIF Sundsvall). AIK have relied heavily on their home form this season which has seen them pick up 37 points from 39. Away from home, however, they've been rotten up until recently. They've won their last 3 (including away to Norrkoping where Sundsvall were just battered 5-1), but prior to that they'd won none of their first eight - although 5 were draws. They are the form side winning their last 8 games and seem to finally be hitting their stride after a mixed start. For me, the best team in the league. As bad as their away form might read, Sundsvall's home record is even worse. Just 2 wins in 12, and 10 points from a possible 36 in total. Their last two has seen them lose both to two of the bottom three - including Atvidaberg, who had only won 1 game all season prior to it. They've also only scored 9 in those 12 games. They're pish, basically. AIK can also go top with a win, and other results going their way. Odds: 2.05

IFK Goteborg (away to Elfsborg). Okay, so I've tipped the top 3 in Sweden to all win, which might seem fairly obvious. However, Goteborg are second favourites with the bookies for this which is interesting. Statistically, they're very impressive. They've won their last 5 and have only conceded 13 goals in their 24 games this season. Although, 10 of those come away from home. They've still picked up 7 wins & 3 draws in their 12 away games, though. Their away record in recent seasons has been pretty good, losing just 4 in 27. Although a lot were draws from the season before, but they appear to have found a way to transform more draws in to wins this year. Although they've scored 41 goals, their top scorer only has 10, with their highest after that just having 5. They sold their second top scorer (who had 6) back in July to Brentford, so it's likely had he stayed, he (and the team itself) would have racked up a few more goals. Elfsborg haven't won in 4, but do boast a great home record, losing 1 of 11. That was in their last home game to Sundsvall, who I've already mentioned aren't very good. They were joint top with Goteborg 5 weeks ago, but now trail by 8 points. It's a fixture that has only seen 1 goal in the last 3 meetings however, and only 1 in the last 3 at Elfsborg. It's a tough tie for Goteborg, but if either side is going to win, it's going to be them. Odds: 2.70 (were 3.10 last night).

There are a fair few other markets on the game that might interest some rather than a straight Goteborg victory:

Goteborg or Draw - 1.55 | Goteborg & Under 2.5 - 6.00 | Goteborg to win to Nil - 5.00 | Goteborg/Draw (HT/FT) - 15.00

You can get some pretty good correct score odds on a low scoring game, too, which I think it's almost certain to be. Naturally it'll be a six-goal thriller, now. The game isn't until tomorrow night, whereas the rest are tonight.

Also backing +2.5 goals at Rugby Park now

Quick Stat: take Killie's last 12 homes and Hearts' last 12 aways and 21 of the games have seen 3 goals or more. There were quite a few goals in SLC mathces last night so augurs well.

1.91(10/11) with Willies. Main bet of the night for me now.

I've taken another Coral New Customer offer on Man Utd & Chelsea both to win (or rather Mrs Ned has ;) ) at 8/1 for a fiver.

Potential £40 return rather than the conventional £3.50.

Ipswich will probably f'ck it up but worth the odds.

Norrkoping (home to Djurgarden).

AIK (away to GIF Sundsvall).

Norrkoping & AIK winning at HT, all good so far. Watching the Norrkoping game and they've dominated completely. Should have been at least 1 up before the goal and since scoring have hit the bar as well as Kujovic missing a sitter. Gone close on a couple of other occasions, too. The stats if anyone is interested:

Boxing match, etc etc.
