So you reported the celtic fans to the stewards at the time but not the coin throwing, why not? they had already proved that they were willing to react to complaints.

Someone did complain and was told CCTV would be checked.

What, all of it? The whole things seems incredibly unlikely because one claim sounds a little implausible. Is that really what you're saying here?

The whole thing seems incredibly unlikely because the incredibly unlikely claim of the 5p shaped bruise was used as justification and claimed as proof of the whole story.

Speaking as a Rangers fan who was standing in the Dumbarton end, there was categorically coins thrown as my friend sitting two seats away from me was hit by one.

The guys to the right of the Dumbarton fans were, to a man, scumbags. Complete drunken idiots and were an embarrassment to Rangers.

You calling your fellow supporter a liar? Why would he make this up?

For anyone who seems to be doubting the word 'categorically', I can confirm one million, squibillion percent that coins were thrown from the Rangers fans into the Dumbarton end. I would love nothing more than to sit here and say "I was in the Dumbarton end and that's absolute nonsense, our fans are nowhere near as bad as people say", yet, unfortunately I was on the receiving end due to being in the Dumbarton end in plain clothes.

The coins were thrown and the the vile filth was shouted. That's just simply a fact. One of my friends recently said that I'd become a bit of an 'apologist' Rangers fan and I hadn't really thought of that before. I don't mean to be and I don't want to be. Rangers have given me so much to be proud of over the years and brought me excitement that no other club ever has... I'm glad to be a Rangers supporter. I just wish that the vile, utterly digusting fucking reprobates that support our team would f**k off.

I'll never be able to support another team because I chose Rangers at 5 years old and for the last 20-odd years they have been my team; I should never have to apologise for it either. But standing in the Dumbarton end and knowing that the people there are good folks and witnessing the absolute scourge of Glasgow throw both vile comments and vile missiles at them I was severely dissapointed and embarrassed. I was asked before the game whether I would be able to control myself in the game and not cheer on Rangers and I actually doubted myself a bit as I'd drank a fair few pints. Once I realised the complete pile of shite on our right hand side I was more embarrassed to be associated with them than anything.

Disappointing afternoon. And any Rangers fans reading this - Tedi, No8, bennet, youngsy - just trust me, the coins were thrown and they were thrown by utter scumbags. Instead of ignoring it and pretending it didn't happen let's try and focus on eradicating it.

Sorry but... No video evidence, so didn't happen.

How can people like you, clearly with sense and decency, support this disgusting club? I couldn't bring myself to sit amongst the overwhelming majority (that's right, not minority) of bigots that support Rangers.

Shocked No.8 and his chums have failed to address this post.

I have answered Brads mate posts...Moonster...I accept that coins were thrown and i am more than happy to accept that there is a group of complete idiots that congregate around the away support with the sole intention of winding up the away fans. I have said on many occasions that the club need to do more to combat this problem. Funny you and your chums have failed to notice this.

Throwing coins at people represents a "wind up" then?

Those jolly japesters.

We'll get Rangers fans addressing Bradhorse's points now, but from the point of view of discrediting him "as he was pished" or such like.

Unreliable witness, m'lud.

Have you told the club this?
