tree house tam
Enough about Saints being better than Dundee and Falkirk for as long as I can remember, lets get this thread back on track. Have you boys sold more ST than the Dayglos yet?

Lower than almost half of the championship teams......

It's bizarre how desperate you've been to troll Saints fans since you're side was brushed aside last week. It's not even trolling, your arse must be overly sensitive today. You seem to be assuming that Uefa listing you as taking part in a qualifier means something more than you having been in a qualifier. If Andy Lawrie fails in a qualifier for the Open, does that mean he has played in the open? No, it means he's been involved in a qualifier for the Open. When was the last time you qualified for a UEFA competition. 99/00 is the answer. You have been knocked out in the qualifiers every time since. Anything else is semantics. The "evidence" above is the governing body literally saying you went out in the attempt of qualifying for their competition.

You can check that with UEFA if you like. -

By Qualified, you presumably mean put forward by the SFA as its their call who actually gets given the places? And then failed in the act of quifying for said tournament. Semantics, mate. You keep failing in the qualifiers. Simple question. When was the last time you played in the Uefa /Europe league proper?
DigOutYourSoul
Stipe isn't even off the plane yet and he's been written off by some as useless because he comes from a league that's "about the same standard as the Highland League", amazing optimism! People cry out for a goalscorer and we get linked with someone who's averaged more than a goal a game in a professional league, and Asian Champions League for the last 18 months, and he gets shot down before he even arrives. We're never going to sign a prolific striker from a well known league - because they tend to be in huge demand, and therefore command wages we can't get near. Seems on the face of it like he got a move to the Thai league, ranked by Fifa only behind the biggest spending Asian nations, but fell foul of a too many foreigners rule - ala Willo Flood. At least give him a chance to be shit before claiming he's shit!

Apparently he was the first foreigner signed by the Thai mob but they then went on to sign another five and got rid of him as that was them over their quota. Bizarre. The difference with him and Willo is that he failed to get a work permit because he had only been playing in the second tier of Scotland with some diddy mob.
