Then you've come a long way from the boy who wouldn't join the bus crawl as you were too intimidated. I'm pleased for you.

Ludo*1
Had a little bit of time on my hands this early morning so did a little bit of digging. Want to preface this by saying, no real point to it, just a bored mind at work. Checked out all our former (And current) managers records at Dens and Hartley's is easily the most impressive, but that wasn't really the reason I rattled it up as that's obvious from where we are in the league. Paul Hartley - GP: 40. W: 18. D: 10. L: 12. WR: 45%. John Brown - GP: 39. W: 18. D: 8. L: 13. WR: 46.15% Barry Smith - GP: 102. W: 39 D: 27 L: 36. WR: 38.24% Gordon Chisholm - GP: 21. W: 8 D: 5. L: 8 WR: 38.09% Jocky Scott - GP: 65. W: 31. D: 13. L: 21. WR: 47.69% Alex Rae - GP: 97. W: 42. D: 22. L: 33. WR: 43.29% Won't go back further as don't want to relive the Kernaghan era! Up until our game against Aberdeen, Hartley's record was the same as Bomber's over the same period with an added draw instead of a defeat. Worth noting that Bomber had 12 games against top flight opposition whilst Hartley has had 24 games against them thus far. Barry Smith's record is obviously a bit wild considering the contrasting runs of his Deefiant season and the season we were promoted at the last second. Going by his only season in charge that wasn't an extreme situation (Although some would argue it still was as we were playing with our lowest ever budget in Division 1) his record would be: Barry Smith - GP: 43 W: 18 D: 11 L: 14 WR: 41.80% Most probably won't be interested, but thought it was worth sharing anyways!

Clearly corrupt officiating by a bias, homer of a ref. Jacqueline looks like a rattling junkie ned whilst Paul pulls of the heroin chic look quite magnificently although one can only assume it's the full fat smack he's on.
Ludo*1
Wighton was due back anyways. Might go back to Brechin.
an-dee
Wighton was due back anyways. Might go back to Brechin. Wouldn't mind seeing that to be honest. Getting loads of game time and got his first goals at the weekend. Great experience for him. I'd imagine if we get another striker in he'll go back out on loan.

Hoping for personal reasons that the heroin chic look becomes fashionable.

Nizzy
Again, not really of use to anyone but, I fucking loved Alex Rae's Dundee team. I loved Alex Rae. So did the rest of the Firhill faithful. And he loved us, too.
Chateau Lafite
I loved Alex Rae. So did the rest of the Firhill faithful. And he loved us, too. Indeed! How many red cards did Alex manage to acquire in the red mist against the Jags competion? And who was above him in the competion, if any.
rambling syd rumpo
I loved Alex Rae. So did the rest of the Firhill faithful. And he loved us, too. The collective seethery whenever Rae appeared was always impressive. On a per capita basis the Thistle fans can take on all comers at mass seething. Rangers? Celtic? They've just got the big numbers (though not quite so big since Armageddon kicked in). Thistle fans can reach effortlessly for 11 on the rage-ometer when the mood takes them. Their nearest challengers were probably Airdrie when they played at the old bearpit that was Broomfield.
Nizzy
Two in one season. The same season we beat Dundee four times out of five.
Fifespud
Personally I like a player who knows when the time's right for a head's gone moment of utter mental rashness. Regardless of the outcome. #cammyfraser<3
rambling syd rumpo
Personally I like a player who knows when the time's right for a head's gone moment of utter mental rashness. Regardless of the outcome. #cammyfraser<3 In fairness to Cammy, his Greatest Ever Red Card looked utterly premeditated. He sized up the situation and decided that halving Davie Provan would be more than worth the inevitable red card. Provan had it coming to him after "an exchange of kicks on the ground" with McKinlay. as the Sunday Mail put it in classic OF sooking style. The exchange involved Provan giving the prostrate McKinlay a good kicking as he lay by the touchline in front of the Derry while the officials looked elsewhere. Cammy's magnificent retribution was no less than a selfless act of public interest. It did Provan a favour too. Either Cammy was going to get him or the Derry was. The Derry saw justice being meted out and was satisfied. The fact that Provan did a full somersault in mid-air was a bonus. Nice.
