RawB93
Aye, you can apply for an extension of the curfew due to work commitments, so he could have it from 7-10 for example. Surely they were well aware he may need that when giving him the tag now so unsure if he'd get it.

Mr Gandosaur
What pisses me off about this more than anything is the fact they are pinning this "considerable financial cost" on the behaviour of fans at the Derby when in fact, these improvements were planned months ago. The events at the derby have only speeded up the process thats all.
Bigmouth Strikes Again
Hartley is easily the best manager we've had for the past 45 years, Archie Knox built a great side (and he would be second IMO.) but no one else comes close to what Hartley has done, and things are only going to get better. Pleasing.

Pleasing. To be fair other than Archie and maybe Jocky there's not much to beat but your spot on. Cracking on with signings, a great mix of youth and experience including some guys we can sell on for decent wedge. I fucking love him. (Although in 6 months time we could still be calling for his head )
BucksburnDandy
From what I read sounds very similar to Paul McGowan which will give us plenty of dig in midfield for next year with most likely harkins at rhe front of them with thomson holding which is a strong midfield. Very pleased with the signing and hopefully stays injury free. Is he similar to gowser? In some ways yes. He similarly shares a good workrate, an in your face style of tackling and a strong desire to win. Where he differs from Gowser is that he's not much of a moaner but in fact has an exceptionally positive and chirpy character, he's got a very sweet left foot which in my view is better than what I've seen from Gowser (granted I don't see Gowser every week), he's a wee bit slower than Gowser pace wise and is at his best sitting deeper than Gowser. Oh and he doesn't kick police officers, which is hard to believe given he's from Greenock!!! Will definitely give you dig and guile in a central midfield role. Very good signing, I hope he goes on to do very well at Dens, a favourite player of mine.

dd23
As the match thread is disintegrating into the usual pish what is the score with Thomson this time? If it's resting him for Saturday I can sort of see the point, but if not we should perhaps just start flagging up when he's not injured.
Derry boy
Simon ferry is genuinely one of the worst midfielders weve had in the last 10 years, god awful footballer. Desperately need 2 atleast of mcgowan, harkins and thomson to make us tick.

If it's resting him for Saturday I can sort of see the point, but if not we should perhaps just start flagging up when he's not injured. He doesn't train in a normal way with other players and the medical staff take the view that if he plays in games close to each other; he'll be fucked. Was just a choice of playing him tonight or Saturday and obviously we want the win from that game. It's frustrating but I'd rather just get as much out of him as possible and prolong his career.

Desperately need 2 atleast of mcgowan, harkins and thomson to make us tick. Simon ferry is a good footballer, completely ruined by injury. One of the signings I was most excited about and for me showed early promise with a couple of good games. Injury and illness then took their toll and I think even he would admit he's been poor since. Rumours that he is planning on early retirement through injury yet continues to try and play when he is asked entitle him to a bit of respect and even sympathy IMO.
