Ludo*1
We finished 5th only behind: Oxford, Cambridge, Bath and Norwich. The rankings were worked out based on the number of cinemas, libraries, Michelin guide restaurants, music venues, museums, theatres and Grade I listed buildings on offer in each city. Link. invergowrie arab
Would have been first if the council had not made this short sighted decision http://www.thecourier.co.uk/news/local/dundee/deja-vu-bid-to-open-until-6am-is-refused-1.621017

DA Baracus
I think it's no coincidence that this was announced shortly after my relocation to the city.
Tom McB
Clare Brennan, curator of the Hannah Maclure Centre at the University of Abertay, said it was “nice for the city to be acknowledged”. She added: “Dundee is on a bit of a trajectory just now" A bit of a trajectory? That means SFA. Then again she is at Abertay uni.
Tom McB
Nice to see a story of positivity for one of Scotland's cities getting the backing of the No vote, eh? Did all those who voted no comment on it? Damn, must have missed that.

Zetterlund
I may not live in Dundee, but I am satisfied with the cultural trajectory of my DD postcode nonetheless.
eindhovendee
I may not live in Dundee, but I am satisfied with the cultural trajectory of my DD postcode nonetheless. East of Dobbies may be an Arab zone but it is also in trajectory of DD culture. Which is pure teckle.

Hedgecutter
Yes and Yes. Scotland's got seven cities now. Useless but fun fact (which I think I picked up from P&B ages ago): The Broxden Roundabout is the only place in Scotland where you can see a sign post for every one of Scotland's cities. As for Dundee, I've just passed through it and realised that I have never set foot on the RRS Discovery. This is despite going to stay in Dundee every second weekend for a good few years and making the old Olympia a frequent destination. Must go.
