Hat-trick of the Day

A bumper crowd at K Park witnessed the superb hat-trick of the Day supplied by Our very own Beezer, he was on fire yesterday but only just shaded it for MOTM award. I spoke to Jack after the game & asked him what was his best of the three & he said it was his last one. An excellently executed penalty but as a spectator for me it was his 2nd, even the Kilby boys around us applauded the goal. Anyway you can decide for yourselves when I put the highlights package up later.

Cloudies forward roll celebration is one to watch out for though not Granty the grappler who that grapple aside was immense.

So that's two 6 goal thrillers in the last week or so dished up by 2 decent sides. EK's number 9 once again scored against us to open up proceedings he's some talent that lad.

I knew after last weeks performance we would win it wasn't blind faith, my eyes were well & truly open last week & I knew that with 11 men on the K park we would win.

Entertaining stuff & Swainy deserves a mention you have to see his double save that denied Kilby another goal, that was worth the 6 quid on its own.

Our new lad Nixon looked very assured at right back & we had the strongest bench I've seen this season.

It's always heartwarming when these lesser teams make it through to the next round. Well done to our little neighbours...:P:rolleyes:

In the shadow of Meadowbank,

We shall lead out of the darkness

& yet we fear no evil.

Triumphant in victory
