Loki
I bought a copy of Office 2010 on my last laptop, and sadly the motherboard died. I have managed to extract the HD and stick it in one of those USB cases so I can extract the files that were on the laptop previously. Are they a way to move the Office onto this laptop? Or at least extract the Product key to install it on this? If not I will use one of those free Office programs. The Office 365 is not worth a subscription for how often I use Excel. Loki
I just downloaded Open Office instead. Seems a much better idea.

There are product key retrieval programmes around. I used one the other week, but I think they will only work if the programme is installed on the machine

Open Office does everything I need it too at a lot cheaper price.
