Live Aid DVD's

It will be 30 years since Live Aid next July.

Has anyone got the 4 disc DVD set that came out about 10 years ago?

There's 85 songs that didn't make it on to the DVD's, including the Phil Collins performance below of 'In The Air Tonight' at Wembley.

They did include his performance of that song later in the day at Philadelphia (after he flew there that day on Concorde)

It's good but I prefer the version that goes >> "DOOF..DOOF..DOOF..DOOFDOOF..duuduuDoof"

There were a few picture outages at the time of the live broadcasts, one included part of 'The Who' set at Wembley.

On the Live Aid DVD's from Philadelphia, Simple Minds finish performing 'Don't You Forget About Me' then Jim Kerr walks off stage (as per the start of the vid below) He then comes back on stage again but 'Promised You A Miracle' is cut short due to a picture outage.

This performance is not on the DVD's.

Somebody did a good job a few years ago piecing together most of the stuff not used on the official DVDs and editing it to 3 or 4 discs worth - the quality was really variable due to the different sources they used, and there are a handful of songs that nobody on the planet seems to have recorded...

I saw it a few years ago, but I'm sure it'll still be up for download somewhere. Not all of it's great though - here's the Zeppelin performance for instance which they refused to sanction being released on the official DVD for fairly obvious reasons:
