speckled tangerine
Ponsonby ripping the pish out of full fiscal autonomy. How will this happen Jim? Dunno....but it could bernhard. Tragic stuff from Jim. Someone get Reynard's shotgun and put him out his misery. It's the kindest thing.
Granny Danger
Ponsonby giving Murphy more leeway than he gave Sturgeon.
John Lambies Doos
Ponsonby giving Murphy more leeway than he gave Sturgeon. Aye. But it wont make the slightest difference Is there another Scottish only leaders debate? Or have they all finished?

glasgow-sheep
He did well apparently?? Spouted almost constant bull shit and was allowed to by Ponsonby who didn't challenge him as much as Sturgeon was last night.

speckled tangerine
Ach. In a couple of weeks he'll be away and we'll look back on him fondly just as we did with Iain Gray. If we can get a meltdown gif from his defeat at the count it would be a fitting political epitaph.
Ned Nederlander
I was on catch-up so I've only just heard Libby Brooks of The Guardian describe Murphy as a 'great performer' and state that tonight he was 'quality' !!

vikingTON
The late Reynard from page one of this thread. Good to see that the political instincts that put Mitt Romney in the White House hasn't left him.
Gordon EF
You can normally tell from the reaction of opposition goons how they feel about someone. So from that point of view, the NCC are a bit worried about Murphy. It will be the first time that Labour have had a leader with any ability whatsoever since Dewars days and they have an untried leader themselves as well as losing the one politician they had who was actually fairly able. Ooooft!

Adamski
Looks like the life has been sucked out of Jim during this election campaign.... Pictures like that actually leave me feeling sympathy for Murphy. I disagree with many of his policies, think he comes over as a slimy career politician, and hope he gets horsed in this election and loses his seat, but I don't wish ill health on the man. Kyle
Looks like the life has been sucked out of Jim during this election campaign.... Dear lord. Look at how much weight he's lost around the face too. I think there will be a part of him that'll be relieved if labour are absolutely trounced next week - this really can't be good for his health. Gaz
Jim's colleagues yesterday: "Jim, we're just preparing some material for you to talk about on your interview tonight on the telly, want to try it out?" Jim: "No thanks lads, I'm just going to keep repeating exactly the same phrases and terms that I've been using over the past few weeks. It's been working really well."
