1320Lichtie
Jesus f**k that was infuriating. Early goal for them gave them something to hang on to and probably changed their mindset, really poor for us to lose that I thought, we atleast deserved a draw!! 1st half I thought they did ok and their number 2 was decent, we done ok but couldn't score, also a few poor performers in Carreiro and Hunter. 2nd half it was a fucking bombardment from us IMO with Queens thinking Morrison was on their team with the amount of times they just punted it back to us, thought everybody did well 2nd half to be fair to them but we just couldn't score. Then when we went 3 at the back and 3 uptop we got caught out with to many people pushing forward, cross ball, boy comes in back post nobody near him 2-0 and I couldn't fucking believe it. Queens did have a few good attempts and made Morrison make some good saves but I thought they were very poor 2nd half, understandably probably just trying to secure the 3 points and stifle the game. We only have ourselves to blame though for not finishing our chances and not making our pressure pay. Just one of them fucking days!!!! Queens fans looked like they enjoyed what was a pretty hectic match so fair play to them, still 5 points clear but we have Albion next week and we seem to fucking hate Cliftonhill. One of they fucking days. Infuriating.
lichtie23
Shite 1st half.....better 2nd. Carriero was useless today. Boy is so 1 footed. Congrats Queens
Lichtie78
Never been so angry at a match, our finishing was awful. Kieran Stewart has been good recently and shouldn't have been dropped. Our whole midfield had an off day tbh
afc_36_0
Apart from our woeful finishing we were ok today, well done to queen's who after their early goal were very resilient. Few pointers: What the hell is going on with our midfield? Now a diamond? What was wrong with carreiro? Looked like he didnt want to know I feared the worst for morrison's confidence after the early goal but he had a couple of great stops And finally the ref was being a complete and utter w****r, some of his decisions were shambolic to say the least! clashcityrocker
All one way traffic in 2nd half - Arbroath threw everything but the kitchen sink at Queens. Linn, Nicoll and McManus all put in a great shifts. Dylan C had an off day - these things happen. Queens are a decent team - they set up their defence to play the game out to defend their lead. In last 5 mins of match Arbroath could have scored 3 goals. Perhaps a share of the points would have been about right.

Midfields been a diamond for a while now. Missed Stewart today who I cannot believe was dropped. Carreiro was poor, just wasn't his day, would've put Stewart on for him. Morrison done well today, wasn't the busiest of days for him but he had a few hard saves that he pulled off. Both teams could barely stay on their feet today, they Tuesday night games over the winter will take their toll on the park. What a day weather wise... relichtie
QP should wear masks to go with those striped jerseys. Never seen such a one sided 2nd half but we are so wasteful with our chances. Need to sharpen up in the box. Makes for some game next Sat at Cliftonhill. C'MON LICHTIES

Whole first half he believed he could dribble past every Queens player and lost possession multiple times. On almost every occassion there was at least one option open to him to pass the ball but he refused too. Admittedly he played better in the second half but that was after he pukled his head out his arse and started to pass the ball. Dylan Carreiro was a travesty in midfield. Boy was terrible with the ball, wasted so many passes and was lacklustre going forward. Moore! Why drop Stewart for this game? Play with a 4 3 1 2 formation with no wingers? And then when pushing boys up and leaving 3 at the back, left us horribly exposed at the back for a counter attack with 3 slow players. Shocking decisions today. Fair play to Queens Park, they played a defensive masterclass today. We were just hopeless.

Fair play to Queens Park, they played a defensive masterclass today. We were just hopeless. I Thought Linn was good today. In the 1st half he single handedly created everything for us as Hunter and Carreiro were so poor in the 1st half, towards the end of the half he was losing the ball as he was trying to much on his own seemed like he was frustrated at the other 2 losing it. He went past players with ease in the second half though and created a lot again. We have been playing the diamond for a while now, it's seemed to have worked and today really should've again, we created that much and just never took our chances. One thing about the diamond is that it does mean we go through the middle a lot and the 2 full backs are our width, a McBride does great in advanced positions but not so much Little, doesn't have the quality on the ball higher up the park. I'd like to see Hunter tried there. I agree about the 3 slower players being uptop I know Murray was having a bad day infront of goal but his pace would've been handy for us towards the end. As for a defensive master class I'm not so sure, I mean it was just our awful finishing that screwed us we had a barrow load of chances. Can't complain after 2 defeats and 9 wins in 11 and still 5 clear but it was a very frustrating afternoon. Hope it's a kick up the arse for next week.
