UKIP

Aron Banks wants to be made chairman of UKIP, although he isn't actually a party member at the moment.

Nigel Farage wants to expel Douglas Carswell because he think Carswell sabotaged a knighthood he was due to receive.

I might join UKIP, I reckon I could be on the party executive in a couple of weeks.  I will then insert P&B related references to all party policies and literature.  Who's with me?

The most logical conclusion appears to be the Tories asked Carswell to defect in 2014 to cause as much mayhem as possible...

He's been a pain in their backside ever since. Wouldn't surprise me if come 2020 he's standing under a Conservative ticket again, if the local party would allow it. Or an independent.

Why would an "anti establishment" man of the people like Nigel want knighted? For that matter, why would an "anti establishment" party be so keen to be inducted into the establishment via presence in the Lords?

£300 pound a day for popping in and out again.
