CLANCY2KTID
I'm considering taking a long weekend. Friday off with help with the excitement of the pre match build up to mehl-classico. Monday for an extra day to recover after the post match night out we all have to either celebrate or commiserate ourselves after the seasons stand out fixture. We need more Mehl-classico's in a season.
Radford
Really hope TRS doesn't exclude the cracker from the spring of 2012 in his countdown. Dean Shiels nearly scored a penalty in a thrilling draw, one of those moments where everyone remembers where they were. The Lowndes goal was in same game as Roberts lobbed Main, Saints threw away a 2-0 lead in the last ten minutes.
Kyle
I'm not sure how TRS will manage to condense the memories into just one a day to be honest.

Radford
With a sequence of results like this, it's easy to see why the meh derby is so revered throughout European football.
Richie95
2-1 Kilmarnock win, with Josh Meh-gennis scoring both goals for Kilmarnock, earning himself a free pint in any pub in Kilmarnock for the rest of his life, for scoring the winner against our great derby rivals. WhiteRoseKillie
2-1 Kilmarnock win, with Josh Meh-gennis scoring both goals for Kilmarnock, earning himself a free pint in any pub in Kilmarnock for the rest of his life, for scoring the winner against our great derby rivals. We'd have to rename that as a meh goal-fest. Two in the same match for the big fella? Twice in one season? Against the same side? Lottery-winning levels of probability there, I reckon. Costanza
I'm sitting in the Killie end for this one as mate has offered me a spare season ticket. That will liven things up. Danny Dyer is doing a feature on it before the game.

WhiteRoseKillie
I'm going to drink in Glasgow beforehand, It's a much safer option for away fans to gather elsewhere before the match as Kilmehrnock could get proper naughty. Will be joining the mehsive away support in the police escort to the ground though. That'll be a wee PCSO at the top of John Finnie Street: "Aye, lads, just go down to the bottom, take a right then follow Portland Rd to the lights and go left. Ye'll see the Brass and Granite and the Portmann on the way - ye'll be fine for a pint in either." Can't be too careful with these Northern invaders.... Thomas_sjfc
Some nice Meh Derby memories on this thread which I've been inspired by. I've decided to post up a 'Meh Derby' flashback every day until the big kick-off. Hopefully it will build up the excitement even further. The 'Meh' Derby - Wednesday's Flashback Believe it or not, almost a year and a half has passed since St. Johnstone travelled to Kilmarnock for the opening Meh Derby of the 2013/14 season! The match will go down as one of the more memorable clashes between the two sides, but it will always be remembered in particular for one major event. In the 78th minute, Kris Boyd tried to score a goal. The ball hit the post. If he had scored a goal, it would have resulted in a 1-0 victory for the home side. However, because the ball had hit the post, he didn't score a goal and the match ended in a 0-0 draw. Pictured: Kris Boyd hits the post in the opening Meh Derby of the 2013/14 season. Boyd no longer plays for Kilmarnock, so they will have to rely on someone else to almost score a goal for them this weekend. Why are killie wearing the away top in this game, is it the case that the home team wearing their away top part of this fixtures uniqueness
Killiesquirrel
Why are killie wearing the away top in this game, is it the case that the home team wearing their away top part of this fixtures uniqueness If I remember correctly, our home top wasn't ready in time for this game. It was due to all the stuff with MJ etc.
The Saintee
Fraser Wright and Gary McDonald both used to play for Kilmarnock. Craig Samson used to play for St Johnstone. Interesting fact.
Killiesquirrel
Fraser Wright and Gary McDonald both used to play for Kilmarnock. Craig Samson used to play for St Johnstone. Interesting fact. Another interesting fact is that both teams have won this game. So that means each team has one win in this fixture, and there haven't been any draws as there has only been two games (remember each team has one win, so they numbers add up). Riveting.
