This named person scheme sounds utterly bizarre. I've been told at work I could be one but I had no idea what it was.

The definition has been all over the Internet for months, and seems entirely practical. Of course that doesn't stop the proposal being monstered by the paedo protection, no surrender, no referendum party

She's been anonymous tonight, and I don't think she's a particularly effective politician, but credit where credit's due for Dugdale's answer on the Named Person. It's not something I feel particularly strongly about either way, but that struck me as the most sensible and balanced response of any panellist.
