Would take me ages to put together a list like that. I know The Wolf of Wall Street is the best movie I've seen this year. Stuff like Gone Girl, Guardians of the Galaxy, Blue Ruin, The Grand Budapest Hotel and The Raid 2 just sort of lingering behind.

Still got a LOT of stuff to watch though.

Guardians Of The Galaxy and Next Goal Wins should be way higher.

Interstellar not on the list either.

They would be if, you know, I had enjoyed them more than the films above them......

I'm desperate to see Interstellar but the missus isn't as keen and when you have a wee one it's hard to justify a lone cinema trip for a three hour film...

Hopefully catch it in next week or two if still playing somewhere.

I have seen 108 films this year so far (that were released in 2014 or late 2013) and my current top 10 would probably be:

1. Snowpiercer

2. Interstellar

3. The Theory of Everything

4. The One I Love

5. Predestination

6. Million Dollar Arm

7. Begin Again

8. Goodbye World

9. Joe

10. The Internets Own Boy:The Story of Aaron Swartz

Agree with others though that this year hadn't been great in comparison to recent years for films. Last year was excellent. Although we are just coming into award season so most of the best films are saved till Dec/Jan

Can't really sort out a particular order but highlights of 2014 for me include -

Guardians of the Galaxy

Gone Girl

Dawn of the Planet of the Apes

The Lego Movie

Wolf of Wall Street

12 Years a Slave

Next Goal Wins (possibly my favourite film of the year for just sheer enjoyment. Best football film ever?)

Films that were totally horrific -

A Walk Amongst the Tombstones

Films I stupidly haven't seen yet but want to-

Grand Budapest Hotel

Dallas Buyers Club

Edge of Tomorrow

The Imitation Game

Blue Ruin

Film that I am going to see on Friday that will become my favourite film of 2014 and probably of all time -
