Play offs

Recommended Posts

So who's going to be in the 3 play off places at the end of the year? Everyone from East Fife to Clyde can still make it. If Arbroath don't start picking up points could they miss out on a play off place after dominating the league for the first half of the season?

Arbroath will be okay.

I've said on another thread: I don't fancy the League 2 teams going in against Stenny or Ayr. I think our division has been of a low standard this season. If we go up, we'll need major improvements to survive in the League above.

Pretty much this.

It's been a poor division this year, but let's not underestimate how pish either Stennie or Ayr are either. When it comes down to it, it's how you play in the play-off games that, obviously, are key. We've been involved in 5 sets of play offs in recent years and we've clocked up 3 draws and 7 defeats despite having relatively good seasons in 4 of them. As regards next year, I'd agree that anyone going up will have to bring in better players.

We're just glad to be involved in the play offs at the top of the table after the horrible, horrible year last season.
