1320Lichtie
None of them are her father. It's like being stabbed in the back. Round n round here I guess. 'Check your facts Kezia' was all he had said. I'm sure Kezia and her dad will continue to send each other birthday cards/see each other at Christmas etc and this will all be forgotten about in a week, don't you worry
pandarilla
Explain? His twitter feed is a long line of criticisms against her boss. How could she become labour leader when her dad keeps ripping her. That's point and laugh stuff. Now don't get me wrong, I completely agree with him, but that has to damage her career. Again, I don't care about her career, my point is that his attack on her is pretty fucking low.
git-intae-thum
posting this quick as my phone is about to run out of battery....???? Just a wee thought about the Nicolagate forgery and leak. Ciceros "qui bono" comes to mind. Who benefits indeed. For the tories its all a bit awkward really. Cameron seemed a bit embarrassed today and only made comment about his agreement that Ed is not "pm material". A poster on another site made a good comment about the phrase "not pm material" Is this a phrase Sturgeon would use? I can't see her saying that and in all likliehood we now know categorically she did not. So who would use a phrase "not pm material" Could there be a labour leader waiting in the wings. They know Ed is a puddin and so they secretly want a weak Tory minority government. With Ed having resigned after losing the election, they can come to the fore, call a vote of no confidence in the weak Tory administration and reap the reward at the subsequent general election. Well its obvious that person is

Sloop John B
This is almost too ridiculous for The Thick Of It. The leak was said to have come from the Scotland Office, so if this was an attempt by the Liberal Democrats at high end political espionage and take Sturgeon down with them it's failed in hilarious fashion. Carmichael must be shitting himself right now. Labour's utterly shambolic response has caught them out big time when they jumped in two footed in a desperate hope to avoid a pumping. The only thing it's achieved is to show Labour in a terrible light and solidified the SNP voters. . The Conservatives election strategy of 'sit back and wait for the opposition to do something stupid' is looking incredibly well thought out. It would also be one of the best piece of Machiavellian schemes if it turns out that the leak came from the Conservatives. All in all a very good day for the SNP as they just can't be stopped. Is it time for someone to set up the SNP Political Juggernaut thread?
pandarilla
So he should keep his political beliefs to himself because his daughters views differ? When his daughter is as high profile as she is? Yes. She's publicly admitted that her dad is an independence supporter. So his views are clear. But to keep digging in through twitter is just continually embarrassing for her. It seems like the actions of an egotistical arsehole.

Is he not as entitled to express his opinion and use twitter as any of us. Like others have said he was not in any way nasty or abusive. Just saying his piece. glasgow-sheep
Obviously nobody on here is changing their vote due to this leaked memo but will the softer Labour to SNP switchers be at risk of being scared into switching back by the constant Sturgeon said this refain in the reporting of this
kiddy
So, everybody's racing round to Dover House, in Westminster, to find out what was said, by whom, at the Scottish Office. 'Paw Broon' will be proud!

Both voted No on the referendum but last night while I took them for a mealconfessed that they'll be voting SNP in the Election. I asked what about the memo leak and my old man called it "desperate ploy by the frightened". Both have been long term Labour voters.
