Mitch
Considering flying into New York for 4-5 nights but want to fly on somewhere else for a week or so. Would like a beach type break. Anyone any suggestions? Below might sound like a stupid question but never been the The States.
Yank Mike
Key West, Florida This time of year no beach town north of Florida is going to have much going on. And even in peak season most of those places cater to folks who drive in for a couple days. They're ok spots, but not international vacation quality. Snakebite
Panama City Beach up on the panhandle is excellent, a hidden gem. It has a wee airport that has a service to Atlanta. Cracking beach, fairly inexpensive and chock full of fanny and places to get pissed. Its one of the biggest spring break towns in America.
Mitch
It is for Summer 2016 as currently trying to think of options for my honeymoon. Getting married at the end of July 2016 so at that time of year it might be better to come out to East. I appreciate New York is expensive but some of the quotes for a 4/5 night stay for myself and my missus is frightening! Any tips?

We're going for 5 nights over Xmas this year and it cost us £735 each for flights and 5 nights in the Sheraton Times square.

Was coming in more than double that for 4 nights when I looked. That was with Virgin but I don't think the other flights are released yet. Will hold off and price once most other airlines release their flights.

By the looks of when we booked it BA only release flights about 48 weeks in advance. We knew we were going to book it and booked it all about 4 days after the flights came out.
