jmothecat
Anyone having a roast dinner today? Got my duck roasting away in the oven. A roast is the best thing about a Sunday generally, but Easter is a good excuse to go a little more decedent.
supermik
Got the lamb on. Was going to do it in a Jamie Oliver recipe style but couldn't be bothered going to the shops for the ingredients.

jmothecat
^^^ coupla roastersCan't beat a roast.Put in a couple of Gloucester Old Spot sausages. Stuffed the duck with oatmeal, having it with roast veg, roast potato and going to attempt to do some giant Yorkshire puds. Giblets have made stock which will be turned into gravy. Lovely meal. Johnny van Axeldongen
I think they renamed Hibernian's stadium to that after the Rangers match the other week.

supermik
^^^ coupla roasters It was brilliant. Even all the vegetables were great, they always seem to be better when bought from a proper greengrocers instead of buying them from a supermarket. jmothecat
Roasts are overrated. It's impossible to overrate perfection. The duck was fantastic, sad it's over already. Used the fat from the duck for the roast potatoes, fantastic.

jmothecat
Sounds revolting. Anyone that eats a roast every Sunday should be investigated by Yewtree officers. Anyone who doesn't is wasting a Sunday. Can't do a roast for the next two Sundays running and this genuinely saddens me.
jmothecat
Easter is the time for drinking. Not eating roasts. I've been doing both.
