~~~ Posted April 7, 2015 Share Posted April 7, 2015 I hope Sturgeon questions Jim voting record for English students, to help point out Labour MPs based in Scotland do not fall under his control but UK Labour Coburn should be a good laugh, I expected him to make a comment about Sturgeon hair and "accidentally" slip of the tongue with Nats and Nazis Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
ICTJohnboy Posted April 7, 2015 Share Posted April 7, 2015 I'm quite sure Nicola will get the better of Murphy in this - and all the others - but is she still going to insist that she would be in favour of doing a deal with Jim's boss in London just to keep the Tories out? ~~~ Posted April 7, 2015 Author Share Posted April 7, 2015 When it comes down to it Sturgeon is the only one with credibility as she isn't just a branch manager Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
the jambo-rocker Posted April 7, 2015 Share Posted April 7, 2015 Is it not just Sturgeon, Murphy, Davidson and Rennie tonight, with Coburn and Harvie joining for the next one? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
ICTJohnboy Posted April 7, 2015 Share Posted April 7, 2015 Why wouldn't she? Maybe because some of us don't happen to believe Miliband is PM material - and it also wouldn't necessarily be good for Scotland. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Tamdunk Posted April 7, 2015 Share Posted April 7, 2015 Pretty sure noone thought Cameron was PM material either. 5 years in office changes that perception a lot. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Kyle Posted April 7, 2015 Share Posted April 7, 2015 I hope jim questions the fm on the snp plans for austerity which include no extra spending next year and the snp economic figures which will mean our tax going up and public service funding getting cut I hope so too. It would be a pretty shite debate if they didn't actually question each other on their respective policies and their implications. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
FuzzyAffro Posted April 7, 2015 Share Posted April 7, 2015 I hope jim questions the fm on the snp plans for austerity which include no extra spending next year and the snp economic figures which will mean our tax going up and public service funding getting cut There can't be any extra spending next year as the election is after the financial year starts. Figures alreaady done. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
speckled tangerine Posted April 7, 2015 Share Posted April 7, 2015 Pretty sure noone thought Cameron was PM material either. 5 years in office changes that perception a lot. I don't agree with most of Cameron's policies but i think he is an excellent politician. I don't agree with many of Ed Miliband's policies but I also think he's way out of his depth. Thumper Posted April 7, 2015 Share Posted April 7, 2015 Pretty sure noone thought Cameron was PM material either. 5 years in office changes that perception a lot. Cameron is quite clearly the most electable Tory since Portillo. He's a terrible human being, but he ticks pretty much every box when it comes to smiling and kissing babies and all that shite. Miliband isn't so much a terrible human being as terrible at being a human being. Armando Iannucci couldn't have written such a walking PR disaster. Ira Gaines Posted April 7, 2015 Share Posted April 7, 2015 How long after a show has been on does it usually go onto the STV Player? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
ForzaDundee Posted April 7, 2015 Share Posted April 7, 2015 How long after a show has been on does it usually go onto the STV Player? If Sturgeon wins then there will probably be technical problems. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Kyle Posted April 7, 2015 Share Posted April 7, 2015 Will this be on the radio tonight? 5 live maybe? I don't think it is as it's an STV debate. If you can't catch it at the time, your best bet is probably the STV player. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
