Kevin Haynes' Son
Would appear there's no thread for this one , the day before the game and quite frankly I am not surprised. Absolutely no interest in this one, yet still shelling out to make the trip down for this one. #AwayDays Always a fun away day in Larbert and hopefully the 11 that CC chooses to start, get their finger out and show him, and the fans, why they want to play for the club, if not. Get rid of the lot. But hey, least we don't have the usual scenario of notman getting sent off as he's already injured. 0-0 bore fest and currie to receive his marching orders for a beasting tackle on Bolo
Red Mist
As ever, I eagerly await Albert Ross's match report. It'll be presented in a straightjacket and be titled "100 reasons why I hate Berwick Rangers. And most of their supporters". Do you actually go to games Albert? I don't just means the ones in your head that all take place during the 06/07 season.

Redcar
Tomorrow's team selection should tell us a lot. Notman Willis Jacobs and Drummond probably missing. Cameron shouldn't be picking anyone who he has already decided to ditch. He also shouldn't pick the 2 loanees unless he thinks he can, and wants to, sign them. And God help us if he thinks Martyniuk is a centre-half worth signing. Suppose Andrews has to start, then I'd go Bauld, Young, Fairbairn, Maxwell Gray, Currie, Miller, cameron Henderson, Gold. Don't much care really though. Hopefully he gives some players a decent chance.
Yellow Feet
I'd probably play Wilkie too. Chances are we're going for him so may aswell see how the 'maybe' pile work with him. More importantly: Dusk or Fubar?
Redcar
Yep. Wilkie should play if we hope to sign him. Forgot about him to be honest!

Pugsley
As the song says - 'things can only get better' - here's hoping for 'something good' for a change. You have to be an optimist to follow the Dream Team or slightly insane perhaps? Fingers firmly crossed for a good result now that the pressure is off for this season......... A Believer
I just don't get it. The 4-1 away win at E Fife was an example of what we're capable of. Why not every week; even every other week would have done!! Showed me we still have a great group of players; and Lavery and Notman were missing! The Shire Voice Of Reason
Thank feck we played well January to March, cos these last two games have been our worst this season. Plus... Green's quite frankly shocking tackle deserved a straight red. Very out of character for him. Just a thought- if we had won the last two games we would have been fourth. berwick-the-unbeatable
Don't think you will see Bolo on Sat Still in thospital after being torn a new arsehole by Andy Russell last time we were up. Anyway, go f**k yourself with your false hope, you're all dreaming. 6th place is in the bag.

Red Mist
Must have missed the usual Berwick trolls coming on here and congratulating the team on a magnificent away win. You can be sure they'll be back on if we don't beat East Fife on Saturday. Which tells you everything you need to know about them - Berwick fans my arse. All you could hear in Trollsville on Saturday afternoon was the sound of tvs getting trashed as the goals rained in. On to the game. With Drummond, Notman and Willis sat in the stand, and Bauld, Gold, Tulloch and Cameron making rare starting appearances, the omens were'nt exactly auspicious, but this turned into the most one-sided matches I've seen all season. Russell could have scored in the opening minute, though he was only kept at bay for a further four minutes, burying a shot from 10 yards after being put clear by Henderson following a slick passing move. Shire's only decent player on the day, Nisbet, battered a shot off the underside of the bar in the home side's best & virtually only attack of the match, but Tulloch and Co spent the rest of the half barely troubled by a dire Shire outfit. With Cameron patrolling the open spaces in front of his back four and Wilkie and Currie running the midfield, the only question was when the next goal would arrive, and Wilkie duly obliged with a looping half volley early in the second period. Henderson added a third from close range after a shaky Barnard spilled Lee Currie's 20 yarder, before Currie himself scored the goal of the game, a sumptuous shot with the outside of his left foot after Gold had eviscerated the home defence with a brilliant run. There was still time for the shire No.5, Greene, to disgrace himself with one of the worst challenges I've seen for years, which took Ross Gray out of the contest and possibly the remainder of the season. Having made 3 subs by then, ther red card was hardly sufficient punishment for an absolutely wreckless tackle/assault. Everyone played their part on Saturday. Bauld had a solid game until he departed on the stroke of half time with what looked like a jarred back; Gold was excellent, his waspish running causing Shire no end of grief, while the central midfield pairing looked streets ahead of Greenhill and Co. Up top, Henderson confirmed the impression of a striker who has goals in him. He might not have the finesse of some but he just looks like scoring every time he plays, and it's a long time since we could say that about a Berwick striker. I'm glad we've got him next season. One swallow does'nt make a summer and the result can't disguise what has been a hugely frustrating and disappointing season, but seeing your team play well and score four to zero on the road isn't a bad afternoon's entertainment. Unless you're called "Albert".
Redcar
Reasons to be optimistic. Trouble with being based in Redcar, and therefore unable to get home from the majority of away games (due to the rail network shutting down just after it gets dark), is that since we beat Spartans the last 5 matches I've seen have been 3 draws and 2 defeats. #curmudgeonlyoldgit
