Don't know if I had missed this on the Junior forum or not. I would have thought RRG may have mentioned it as two guys who play for his team were involved in it, but as he is normally too busy sticking his neb into other team's affairs he may have missed this out unintentionally 8)

Gordon Moffat (ex-Clydebank, now at the Roy) and team mate Gary McMenamin, along with three other friends set themselves a task to visit all 42 league grounds in Scotland in a time of 42 hours, to raise funds for a friend of theirs who sadly passed away last year. They started at Stranraer on Thursday morning, and ended in Annan on Friday night, completing all 42 grounds in a time of just over 39 hours, and raising(at the last count I believe) in the region of 20k for the JMA trust, the charity concerned.

I for one think that this a great thing that the guys done, in memory of a friend, and that we don't hear too many "good news stories" regarding junior footballers these days, so want to give the guys the recognition they deserve for such a fantastic feat. I see Gary was getting a bit of a hard time for getting sent off on Saturday so hope reading this he can be forgiven :)

Well done lads :thumsup2

Was retweeting it a few times , seemed to be getting lots of media attention without little old me getting involved !

You are right , i should asay sorry for being a bit harsh on McMenamin on another thread . The trip did look as though it had took its toll on him as the game went on saturday but hey we won so no damage done .

Well done to both guys and to everyone else involved , to raise the money they have is well fantastic !
