Contra
I believe he should be looked at in the same light as Ryan Gauld, he has 3 goals in 3 games now for Rosenborg having only started one. His performances for Celtic make it clear to see just how good this kid is he shows bags of potential yet a maturity beyond any other player near his age, I have real hopes for Liam he will go on to be a future Scotland and Celtic captain. The Grass Is Greener.
If he's as good as Gauld he wont be at Celtic for long. Might get a big move to Southampton.
RandomGuy.
Gauld leaves Scotland for European latter stage regulars in multi-million pound deal. Henderson cant get game for Celtic so gets loaned out to a weaker league. Identical IMO
1320Lichtie
Got high hopes for him, I would like to see him try his luck abroad next season on a permanent basis too Comparing him to Gauldy at this moment in time is a bit much though.

Too early to say who will end up the better player though, very different types. Think the loan to Rosenborg will do him good, it's a league that's roughly comparable to the Scottish one

Henderson has nowhere near the same potential as Gauld, and games in Norway wont change that. Henderson could well become good enough for Scotland though. They're different types of players, they could both well be playing at the same level in the future, EPL or whatever, they both have good potential, I think they'll both be regulars for Scotland aswell, getting him games in Norway will help him fulfil his potential more than sitting on the bench at Parkhead will

He's not in the same league as Gauld and I hate* the filthy Arab c**t.*I actually don't hate him because he is that good. I'm excited to see how he develops - very glad he's no longer over the road. ETA- that's not to say Henderson is poor - he's a good prospect and may go on to a higher level than Celtic. Gauld us a bit special though. 1320Lichtie
Willie Dyer and Virgil Van Djik play at the same level. Well at a similar level of club. I can see them both playing for mid table EPL teams and in the same Scotland team. I've watched him for the unders and he has been a stand out. All I'm saying is that they're both talented and it's hard to tell how teenagers wil end up when they fully develop. Gauld has a lot of potential and I have high hopes for him but I remember we had a lot of hope for Islam Feruz once (not that they're the same, for one thing Gauld seems to have his head screwed on).
