So... all but the SNP held seats, Glasgow North East (I'm still not sure that labour are going to hang onto that tbh, but I guess we'll see) and Orkney and Shetland?

Cowabunga.

The Waspess was in the SNP office in Alloa this morning asking how things were going. The staff there were being very pessimistic about the seat changing hands, I couldn't believe it when she told me..

You're going to have to translate for those of us outside Clackmannanshire!

If the SNP do the impossible in The Borders I reckon the LibDems may never recover. The SNP will become the natural choice to oppose the Tories. That would be quite a turnaround from the embarrassing No vote percentage.

My maw lives in that constituency and it looked pretty strong SNP to me - SNP posters in windows all over the place. My girlfriend had a canvasser at the door at her parents house and he said that particular part of the constituency had delivered very promising results. They're currently 6000ish behind labour, although there's a sizeable Tory vote there too. I think they'll get over the line there to be honest - would certainly be surprised if they didn't.

Lol. This is the time of year when all the activists are internally playing down the chances of winning their seat so that if it does go pear shaped they have a rod for their own back to avoid a dressing down from the head honchos.

SNP will gain Ochill & South Perthshire with a large margin.

In fairness, I've never heard of a canvasser saying that their results are looking anything else but promising!
