"Nigel Pearson accused a journalist of being an ostrich and then stormed out of his press conference"

Funniest headline I've read in ages.

After watching it though, what a complete twat.

Am I the only one that actually enjoys how much of a dick he's being? In a time where every player is media trained to the point of banality, it's great to see one manager go off on one every so often.

The pressure of being a PL manager for the first time has turned both he and Sean Dyche into the biggest mentalists on the planet.

Absolutely owned by Pat Murphy in today's press conference. Brilliant viewing this...

As much of a dick as Pearson is, I'm not sure why Murphy felt the need to keep going on about it.

I thought the report came across as a fud there, clearly wanted to rile Pearson up and get a reaction, by going on and on and not letting his point go, kinda like the what's better premiership or Serie A arguments on here!

That's what I imagine a discussion with Supras to be like in person

Agree with the above. The reporter was a complete tosser. Loved the sound of his own voice. BBC unsurprisingly. Obviously went along to make a point and must have been greatly disappointed when Pearson started the conference by apologising. Still, he was going to have his say no matter what. Surprised the Leicester Comms person let it go on so long but I suppose if he'd been told to politely shut it the guy would have blown things even more out of proportion. If it had been Pearson going on and on like that I expect he would have been accused of bullying. Hell has no fury like a journalist scorned.
