Kilbowie, what the camera footage doesn't show you is the 5 mins or so of turmoil and the assistant actually goes over to the referee, speaks to him and still they go with it.

I concur with your views that it's not a penalty.

That first penalty decision is one of the worst decisions I have seen for a long long time - great tackle

The worst decision since Meadow not given a penalty for foul on McCann v Bankies. Aye i know Sawyers penalty v you guys in September was soft too!! Haha.

The Pollok penalty looks soft too and the Vics defender gets the ball?!

Most embarrassing referee I've seen in the juniors. If you can't properly see an incident and your Lino says your wrong why ignore him? Why bother forcing clubs to finance linesmen when two committee guys can stand and flag for the ball being out of play. The ref also felt the need to send of our physio. Our penalty was a stonewaller, I was right in front of it and he hit Hanlon, almost at the knee. Think the camera man got a photo of it.

Glad to see the Vics go down. Some of the players were an embarrassment, always diving and not giving us the ball at a decent time, keeping balls hidden in the dugout. Swiftly changed when we went 2-1 up. The keeper especially was an utter fanny, much rather have Largs in the division.

We had the same ref and farside linesman a few weeks back against Largs ....the two of them were shocking that day...

The penalty decision is shocking ..the Pollok player clearly plays the ball...I bet the excuse was tackling in an aggressive manner...

Never heard of that before! What did he do to get sent off? What happened to anyone injured?

First penalty was a shocking decision, was a great tackle to see the ball out for a corner. The ego of that ref must be huge...don't understand why if your linesman tells you that you are wrong that you decide to stick with your original shite decision.

Was too far away to properly see our penalty decision, but from I could tell it was still a soft one. Maybe the referee trying to even things up and realising that he was a bawbag.

What about the Irvine goalkeeper who was time wasting from the first minute until his team went behind then he started running after the ball, very poor sportsmanship and not in the spirit of the game to time waste when a game has only just commenced.

I assumed we would have had to rely on the Vic's physio doing us a favour.

The officials were a nightmare today. For both teams.

I was under the impression that a physio couldn't be sent off, on the basis if someone gets injured he or she needs to be there??

He was made to stand behind the wall next to the dugout. What was achieved by ordering him off I don't know. A bit of common sense from the officials might have helped but we didn't see any of that from any of them all day.

Would I be right in saying that the linesman on the Pollok dugout side was the ever-polite and attention-avoiding (aye right) Mr William Wallace ?

From swearing at our players to making jokes about us losing to the Vics it certainly was.

To be fair he stood up and was counted at the penalty when the referee was refusing to recognise there was two teams on the pitch.
