~~~ Posted May 13, 2015 Share Posted May 13, 2015 Can't believe the government spend £400,000 trying to keep these a secret https://www.gov.uk/government/organisations/cabinet-office He's an environmentalist and had concerns about the armed forces not having the right equipment to do what's being asked of them in Iraq Off with his head Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Fail to see what the fuss is about. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
AberdeenBud Posted May 13, 2015 Share Posted May 13, 2015 I'm not a Royalist in the slightest but these do seem to have been over egged. Although Charles Clarke wins most sycophantic minister: ``I have the honour to be. Sir, Your Royal Highness's most humble and obedient servant.'' Barf. JMDP Posted May 13, 2015 Share Posted May 13, 2015 A good day for FoI that these letters are being released. Whilst there might not be anything overtly "sensational" in this, lets not forget that Charlie, along with the rest of his family, are horrid, lipless, born to rule, horse-fucking c***s. FuzzyAffro Posted May 13, 2015 Share Posted May 13, 2015 The point of all this is the royals are supposed to be politically neutral. We cut off the head of one of his ancetors over that, also called Charles ironically enough. This entitled cretin thinks he has a right to be interfering and telling the government what to do, someone from the government should have been big enough to literally reply telling him to f**k off and mind his own business. He has no right whatsoever, legal or moral, to be doing that and should have been told to do one the very first time he sent a letter. If I had been the one replying to them he would have got an expletive laden rant in reply and left in no uncertain terms any more he sent would, at best, be used for arse paper, then leaked to the press. This is not the 14th century, these c***s need kept firmly in their place by the people, we are in control not them. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Matters not a shite that the letters are tame, he should not be interfering with democracy Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
FuzzyAffro Posted May 13, 2015 Share Posted May 13, 2015 Exactly, the content of them is irrelevant. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
NotThePars Posted May 14, 2015 Share Posted May 14, 2015 Aye it's exactly that. These letters are being spun as a victory for the royals because they're very benign but the fact he's had so much correspondence should be lambasted nearly as much as the pure cringe language used by ministers. "Your most obedient servant" FFS. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
