I had heard that they can always get their pitch so they offer to play at other grounds!! Wonder if that's the reason...

Mallo_Madrid
Their pitch has to be block booked, so can't always get it midweek. They now have away games Weds, Thurs and Saturday.
Mallo_Madrid
Quote from entry criteria for SOS "Clubs should have use of their declared home pitch at whatever date their fixtures are scheduled" Possibly league fixtures? Anyway, its quite clearly not the case.
theProdigy
Canny be that as one of the conditions of South membership is you have priority of use on your home ground.. They have moved them already this season though!! Pretty sure that rule was only for the 'majority of matches' but based on how many matches are played at other venues, rather than the one they should he played at, it would make sense

theProdigy
The rule is quoted word for word from the constitution. See South of Scotland league website Well how did Wigtown get to play at Blairmount, Newton at St Mary's and Edu at Galabank this season rather than at their respective home grounds!! theProdigy
Well! The first two were because the grounds were available but unplayable and you tell me about the 3rd. I had heard it was because of work on the grounds/unavailability of the park
