Ramagamma
These boys are no mugs. 7 minutes in and i can't say we've had it in their half yet, they look energetic and like making quick passes. Just as I post that Mannus makes a brilliant save from a volley inside the box to deny the Aermenians
Ludo*1
Don't think the Armenian side have looked anything close to decent, they just look more fluid than St Johnstone and are stringing a few passes together which is cutting through a St Johnstone side that look like they're not even interested in thinking about first gear yet. Heat is probably a factor and it'll take you lot 20-30 minutes to settle into the game - or you'll embarrass yourselves. Either or.
Waldo Ponce
A team with this pace and movement, we're going to find this difficult especially in this heat and with that defence. They are committing plenty forward and we aren't tracking runners.
Miguel Simao
We've been honking so far.
HibeeJibee
You should - and hopefully will - dispatch this lot comfortably once you settle down, get going, etc. Do Alashkert not have any fans? What's the deal here? They don't have any fans. Club was only founded in 2011 and relocated to Yerevan in 2013. Home average was 371 in 2014-15 (in 2013-14: 257). 7-2
Shaky start unsurprisingly. They seem to have a speed merchant on the left unfortunately. Good to see Muzz in the wars already!
Ludo*1
f**k sake! I thought Mannus and your CH (Didn't make them out) had a proper balls up for a second there.
Ramagamma
Lol at the random family with Man United tops on. These guys seem to be first to every ball, can only imagine the conditions are the issue.
welshbairn
My Armenian is a bit rusty, but I think they just said that Thomas Scobbie has a big following in Armenia, practically a cult.
1320Lichtie
McLean and Sutton both uptop is pretty bold away from home in Europe Draw here win in Perth I reckon

You'd have to think it's the heat or travelling... Their last league game was on May 30th and their season starts in August so they shouldn't be sharper. Ross.
Possibly the heat. When St Johnstone played Luzern over here last season they struggled in the first leg.
Miguel Simao
Still drew 1-1 against a team far superior to this mob. Luzern were one of the best teams we played at McD last season and probably should have beat us.
welshbairn
They've probably been told to take it easy so they don't collapse from sunstroke in the 2nd half. A draw would be good enough.
williemillersmoustache
I find the Armenian pronunciation of Sint Jhohnston quite arousing.
Miguel Simao
Maybe i should chill a bit but i'm pretty disappointed so far, got the impression that this team were of a similar standard to the Latvian gang Aberdeen bitch slapped last season.
HoBNob
St Johnstone have been awful, the amount of hoofball has been really disappointing.
DensParkNumber1
Pretty much how St.Johnstone played all last season. Really boring to watch but they get results.
The Real Saints
Disappointing, but I think we're playing it tactically. Tommy Wright said that we would refrain from pressing them regularly. The heat is obviously bound to have an effect, so I'd be happy enough with a draw.
