Attendances at Ibrox

Recommended Posts

Normally attendances debates are w**k but I'm genuinely intrigued by the numbers we'll see turning out for Rangers next season. Will they back the team or give up altogether after hilariously failing their target of back to back to back promotions?

Start getting things right off the pitch as well on it, show that we're heading in the right direction and be honest at all times with the fans regarding finances.

Not asking for mega signings but we do need a stable defence to start with and if we can replace a few out of contracters with a couple of defenders then great. If not then be honest about it.

Easy for me to say being a Jambo, but look at what happened at Tynecastle this season.

The club worked within their ,imitations, brought a lot of young players through and the support got right behind them, ensuring a sell out more or less every week.

The first thing Rangers need to do is get rid of the parasites and hass-beens on over inflated salaries and introduce players who are truly keen to prove themselves

Ironic that the first person to reply is someone who has never actually set foot in Ibrox.

He's still entitled to an opinion though.

I've never set foot in the House Of Commons, but have my views on how the country should./ shouldn't be run

So much will depend on the next moves of the board,

ST prices,

The meeting on the 12th

Share Issue

Players disappearing out of contract

All these will have to be tempered with

Signings that people will want to watch,

A belief that the league can be won.

Can't see the fans of SEVCO signing up for another season of struggling to hit the top

Before or after the parade?

The other 12th............

Without the bands and sectarian singing....

well ok without the bands can never guarantee the no offensive singing when more than a couple of them cluster togetther.

Bloke at work says the ticket prices at Ibrox are going up by 5% !?

With King set to pump in his £30m and the wage bill set to drop dramatically I'd have thought a wee freeze as a reward for putting up with all the shite would have been on the cards !?

Unless - and it's just a thought - King was talking out his arse!!

A lot depends on the board and how quickly they act, the management appointment is critical.

I think most Rangers fans are extremely dissapointed in how the final play off match turned out but the majority do not blame McCall, they blame the legacy left behind by the old board and McCoist, that does not mean that most Rangers fans believe McCall should get the job, I do not sense a clear favourite emerging from the names being branded about but Warburton and Weir seem to be the names being mentioned most.

I also think that most Rangers fans remain optimistic that the right manager could put together a team capable of winning this league and forming the foundation of a good premiership team in years to come without costing the earth.

If the old board were still in place then I think you would have seen a complete collapse in ST sales, as it is then I still think that 34K is achievable but much will depend on what happens over the summer, beyond that numbers will depend on what fans see on the pitch.

Do you think The Rangers will be able to buy success next season?

FFS nooooo! They might be successful.

Let them wallow in the old club's history with RRM and marquee signings. (trapeze artists, jugglers, clowns, martial arts exponents, etc)

The dream of climbing the leagues to finally reach the top and overcome "thame" was what kept the Orcs going over the last 3 years. They've largely been able to shut their eyes and ears to the buffoonery and clownish running of the clumpany because of that dream. Dave "The" King is going to have to do some serious spin-doctoring to keep their small minds believing.

any manager is going to be signing up on th epretext that he is getting a wad of money. is the money going to be real or just lies to get someone in. whoever they are looking at should get a clause saying ' that if the money promised for players doesn't arrive I'm off. I have my career to think about'.

or dave will offer them shares in a south african diamond mine
