lightscamera
So is the remaster worth it? I really want to replay it but don't want to destroy my Dreamcast memories of the games...
Ludo*1
I've purchased it, but not played it so far. I want it to be successful, but equally I don't want my Dreamcast memories to be tarnished.
SweeperDee
If you’ve played 1 & 2, you’ll know exactly what you’re getting. The UI is slightly fresher, but that’s really it. Not enough to call it a remaster tbh, but a re-release, for sure. The sound is patchy, because the developers no longer had the original sound files, and had to rip/record from the Dreamcast version’s sound files. Other than that, it’s still the same game we all love/loathe. Imagine a game being released nowadays where you literally had to wait 7 in-game hours to talk to someone, only to then to be told to come back tomorrow. Doctor
This game feels like its been encased in ice since 2002 and I'm saying that wholly positively
SweeperDee
This game feels like its been encased in ice since 2002 and I'm saying that wholly positivelyI’ve already played through it. The game is so typically Shenmue, it’s great, and shite at the same time. The fucking ending. [emoji23]
