Kilmarnock vs St Johnstone (19th September 2015)

Recommended Posts

Well, nobody has said Dundee are having a brilliant season. It's the Kilmarnock fans who keep saying it's their worst team in a lifetime (every fucking year). But yes, this is the same team (Dundee) who scudded a team (Kilmarnock) on their own plastic pitch, 0-4.

I've nothing against Dundee whatsoever, and we're both more similar than folk will accept. We've both been Scottish champions once, Dundee have won three League Cups and one Scottish Cup, whereas Killie have won three Scottish Cups and one League Cup.

Stop trying to create a rivalry FFS.

As for the game, Kilmarnock undoubtedly deserved to win. McKenzie absolutely skinned the entire Saints defence on two occasions, and should have scored both times. In comparison, Ashcroft and Findlay actually looked fairly competent. The defence actually looks comfortable with McHattie at left back, and improved even more once O'Hara replaced Westlake.

Do they?

Most Kilmarnock fans agree that the signings made in the summer were an improvement on last season's squad, and there is most definitely a team there that can push for the top six. Nice try though.

Erm.. Yes, they do.

As it was repeated in the 'Locke Out!' Thread merely weeks ago.

It's an ongoing laugh-a-minute spiel trotted out annually. Now? Not so much as you've won two games. Even the STM guy (who's now an attention seeking cünt, btw) has started singing the praises.
