What really is the problem is that there is a structural deficit that needs to be tackled be it by a UK government/Scottish Government or by an independent Scottish Government. That being said my own view is that once Brexit proceeds there woulkd be a difference but one where being in the UK but out of Europe would be worse for the Scottish economy than an independent Scotland within the EU.

But you're forgetting about the £350,000 per week that the NHS is going to get after brexit (the man who likes a beer in his local said so) and the millions of jobs that will be created once we kick all of them damn non-whitey's out of "our country". mjw
"The Scottish Parliament should have the right to hold another referendum...if there is a significant and material change in the circumstances that prevailed in 2014, such as Scotland being taken out the EU against our will."Scotland does now face that prospect - it is a significant and material change in circumstances - and it is therefore a statement of the obvious that the option of a second referendum must be on the table. And it is on the table." Are you going to spend another day trying to convince us that people who post on a football forum have the power to call a second referendum?

If there is no deal on entry to the EU, a 2nd referendum is not winnable, would suggest the SNP know this
AUFC90
No they don't. Part of their VAT is not in their control. They could have it in their control of they chose to as they're a sovereign country. Scotland ? Not so much.

Instead of trying to insult that poster why don't you simply list the things designed by young people which form a central part in modern day life. That would be far more effective. Wait are you saying you think the older generation, the one that invented the PC and internet by in large know how to work them better than an average 18-25 year old? For the record the man who is credited with creating the first PC knows absolutely nothing about current PCs. Not a thing. Antiochas III
So if it wasn't invented then (by a guy who has been dead 14 years) it would not have ever been invented? Really? Old people invented things when they were young. The current generation of young people have just improved on those inventions 100,000 fold. So much so, that old people don't have a clue how to open up a web browser and type something into google.

Actually, the vast majority do. It's a pretty standard thing that they teach in High School these days. The people who built the first PC's don't know the basic difference between RAM and ROM, as the systems were so primitive compared to today's standards. It's like saying that caveman understand how to make full use of fire better, because they discovered it with sticks.

Oh and just so you know, you don't need to know the slightest thing about programming to understand the difference between RAM and ROM. It's bread and butter to the younger generation.
