Given that, unlike H_B, I've never made boastful/ludicrous election predictions, or had to create a new account because I couldn't cope with the humiliation of same, or been laughed at by almost everyone on the board after the Northern Rock fiasco, I can quite categorically state that I've never been laughed off the forum, so your comeback was, like yourself, utterly woeful and pointless. Please put some more thought into these efforts in future, or just kill yourself. I'm good with either tbh. Seriously sad individual.........quite amusing too !

Alan Stubbs
Interesting that the "neverendum!!!" patter has now fully transitioned into this stuff about protecting her salary or whatever. Much like the question of whether the SNP are buckled lefty socialists or Tartan Tories, Unionists' have an awful habit of directly contradicting themselves on a minute by minute basis. On her Marr performance, I suspect a lot of English moderates watching that will be secretly quite annoyed that she is an SNP rather than Labour or Lib Dem politician. The UK as a whole would be much better off if there were a few opposition politicians at Westminster who had the gumption to actually put forward a position and embarrass the UK Government's clowncar response to the Referendum. I'll put my neck and out and guess that guys like AyrExile can recognise a strong leader when they seen one as well
1320Lichtie
I like Jupe but shouldn't joke about stuff like that, IMO. Actually came on here to say how impressed I've been with wee Nicky the last few weeks handling herself incredibly well. Faultless.

Alan Stubbs
HB could easily avoid getting ripped about his positing history if he wanted. Incredibly, he still articulates his predictions/personal opinions as facts and laces most of his posts with self congratulatory language about what he's called all along etc. It's like the guy actually enjoys being laughed at.

I don't understand why Sturgeon wants Scotland to be part of the Single Market and the customs union. Canada's EU trade deal given it access to the Single Market as 98% of the common external tariffs will not apply. A free trade deal with the EU, including services, would be much better for us too. If May gets such a deal would Sturgeon want IndyRef2? I doubt it.

I will credit her leadership when she shows some and sorts out the day to day issues she was elected for and not focussing on a pipedream the country rejected very recently. Lets see if she's even strong enough to put Salmond back in his cage. Considering the party is run like a communist state where the line is firmly toed pressure must be building each time he has opened his mouth recently.

Canada's deal does not include free movement. The EU has a large deficit with the UK. Its Member States (especially Germany, France, Belgium and the Netherlands) with large exports to the UK will press for such a deal. If the EU seeks to charge the Britain for access to the Single Market, Britain can similarly charge the EU for access (i.e. more) to the UK market. Outside the EU customs union with its 12,750 tariffs, we can negotiate better trade deals with the likes of US and Australia.

Which as you know, is of fundamental importance to the UK and Scotlands economy.
