Not so much the scoreline but the goal.

I seen Denis Connaghan do that playing for Celtic against Airdrie in a Drybrough Cup game. They still won 4-2.

You don't often see one red card in a friendly let alone three. And all in the same minute. I'll be interested to read the match report to see what happened

A rash challenge by a Hitchen player resulted in a mass brawl involving players and subs.

ETA the match report.

I thought most of these mis-matched friendlies would basically be played in front of a handful of supporters on training or side pitches. However, checking Google for the Leipzig teams following Burke's transfer to RB I discovered this...

1. FC Lokomotive Leipzig - Records (since re-establishment on 10 December 2003)
- Record Defeat:
1–15 v Hertha BSC, friendly (23 May 2005)
- Record Attendance: Bruno-Plache-Stadion 13,098 v Hertha BSC, friendly (23 May 2005)

It'd be interesting to know what the attendance for the nest home game was!

Some heavy wins in post-season friendlies with Zwolle winning 9-1 and Köln 10-1 over lesser opposition at the end of last month. Pre-season nonsense should start again in a fortnight or so in Europe.

Meanwhile, the greatest cup competition in the world (the Estonian Cup) 1st round has been drawn and the first match is today. Arbroaths record win of 36-0 was equalled two years ago, there was a 31-0 scoreline the same season and a 24-0 last year.

Regular European qualifiers Kalju from the top flight kick off the tournament away to Viimsi II who are essentially the B team of a struggling third tier side, themselves struggling in tier 4. So there should be goals!

The best chances of arbroaths record going are probably: Flora u21s vs Rumori Calcio II, Flora Tallinn vs Tartu Helios & Paide vs Hiiu United. Undoubted tie of the round though is Infonet Tallinn vs Infonet Tallinn U21s!

Since its an all in competition from the outset there is absolutely no seeding, so RL side Rapla Lokomotiv (think pub league standard) have got a bye, as have Levadia Tallinn's third string side, but their top tier first string side didn't.

Only a 13-0 win yesterday for Kalju. Minor upset today as Maardu Aliens seemed to have progressed against Tallinna Piraaja AET.

And they had a guy sent off before half-time but were already 8-0 up!
